Pumpkin flower wishes to be a rose.

As you know( I'm not sure), my daughter is a kindergartner who attends "배화유치원" .

Kindergarten graduation ceremony is just around the corner. The kindergarten hold a speech contest every year to

improve children's public speaking. First, children choose a story which is given by the kindergarten. Second, they

memory the story. Last, they announce it in front of their friends and teachers. My daughter selected one which is "장미

꽃이 되고 싶은 호박꽃". The story is nearly as following.

God created everything in our world and there was a pumpkin flower. She was very sad because she thinks she is so

ugly and people call her names. So, one day she asked for God's help. God granted her wish and changed her to a

beautiful rose. Bees and butterflies flew over and they said that the most beautiful flower is pumpkin flower not a rose.

On the other hand, people were angry because they couldn't eat delicious pumpkin any more. Finally, pumpkin flower

decided to go back God and she became as she was before. God tells her "A rose glows beautiful colors and a

pumpkin flower bears fruit. All things bring harmony."

This story gives me something stuff to think. I believe that gratitude brings success and gurantees happiness.

I am always trying to be thankful for the little things.

The story have a lot of lessons. I think that we could be successful in our life if we devote ourselves to the present time.
