The righteousness of God is a basic requirement for reaching glory. (Rom 3:23-24)
Those who firmly believe that they will go to heaven by believing in Jesus, receiving the forgiveness of sin, and obeying the Lord's will will seek glory from each other like the Jews.
The reason christians crumble in the world is because they have not seen God's glory.
The church only boasts about its power or territory expansion, but it cannot boast about the glory of the Lord.
However, when we return to Christ, the veil of the old covenant is removed, and the formula of the new covenant is given through the Spirit of the Lord, in which we are changed into the image of the Lord, and from glory to glory. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
Therefore, by we keep the commandments of the Lord in which we are in Christ and Christ is in us is loved by God and love each other must be properly explained in this age.
Q. Why can't we reach the glory of God?
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
A. Because of the sin of one man, Adam, there were none righteous, not one.
In order to reach the glory of God, we need the righteousness of God, but because all people have sinned, we do not have the righteousness of God, so we all fall short of reaching the glory of God.
No good work or religion can bring natural man to the glory of God.
But look at John 1:14. “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
The glory that appears in us is light, value, and a noble consciousness of existence.
If Christ is in us, the light shines in us, and the value of our existence gradually changes without our knowledge.
The consciousness that God acknowledges me and that God holds me is strengthened.
Because God has begun to work within me, I always feel reassured, confident in everything, and clear in my attitude and speech. The facial features become clearer.
Also, those who have seen the glory of the Lord will have clear and distinct standards and goals for life.
So, if we are redeemed from sin by the grace of the redemption of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are justified, and the righteousness enters into holiness, and holiness leads to the glory of God.
That is why theologians also say that redemption precedes salvation.
Therefore, we call the Lord Jesus Christ my Redeemer, then my Savior, and then my Master.
When we understand the truth through the Bible, the truth sanctifies us, and holiness leads us to glory, and in glory we become one with the Lord, and the oneness becomes perfect, and perfection becomes love.
A person who has become like this will become an eternal existence with the Lord.
This is the prayer of the Lord, the High Priest, who delivered us from our sins and transferred us to the kingdom of His love, and performed the representative prayer for us (John 17).
Even now, the Lord sits at the right hand of God and makes the same intercessory prayer (Hebrews 7:25).
Q. Then, what are the basic requirements for advancing to the glory of God?
“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:24)
A. The righteousness of God in our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible says that when the Lord Jesus Christ comes into our midst, he becomes light, and the light becomes life, and the life becomes the image of God, and our nature changes, finally reaching love.
So we are justified in Jesus Christ, sanctified by the truth, and finally come to that glory.
So it is right to say that true repentance is a challenge to the glory of God.
The meaning of those who have been justified, by the passive voice we are justified, not that we are self-righteous.
The redemption that is in Christ, in which no one can pull out.
Then you will be asked how to get into Christ.
If we accept the Word that came into us as it is, we are in Christ.
This is called reception. Receiving is not just accepting Jesus, but accepting all the words that explain his existence and all the works he has done.
In Romans 5, Paul says that Jesus Christ collectively brought out those who were in Adam from sin and death and passed them over into Christ. Hearing the word, accepting it as it is, and accepting it with faith is called reception.
It is the same as when the Republic of Korea was liberated en masse on August 15, 1945.
It wasn't that each person was liberated, but the Republic of Korea itself was liberated.
It's just that each person knows first and knows later.
If you hear the gospel, you will know that a nation has been saved in Christ at once. (Isa. 66:8)
It seems that we accept Jesus Christ one by one as our Savior, but in fact, just as Moses led the Israelites through the Red Sea, when Jesus Christ died and rose again, he led all those who were predestined in Jesus Christ from death to life. He had crossed the cross.
So, "Very truly, I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and has crossed over from death to life." (John 5:24)
We did not gain eternal life by believing in Jesus directly, but by accepting his words as they are, we know that I have already crossed over from death to life.
This is the meaning of the word reception.
If we, who were born in Adam and were born on this earth as dead in trespasses and sins, hear the words of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and was raised to justify us (Rom. 4:25), believe in the words of Jesus Christ, and receive him as our Savior, then the righteousness of God will be revealed in us.
Through this, we become christians who enjoy the spiritual blessings of the heavens in the grace of making peace with God and seeing and rejoicing in His glory. (Rom. 5:1-2)
