The Way of the Tao
Son Byung Heung
When I let go of the desire to hold on, the path finally opens
Water flowing silently from low places makes a path
The wind that laid down the desire to climb higher beneath the mountain
Like the empty clouds that filled the sky
The bamboo groves that bend to stand longer rather than break
If you stop your forward-looking attitude, the scenery behind you will start talking too
With more empty hands than hands clenched in effort to fill them
A heart of lowered silence rather than an elevated voice in striving to win
First, the world that untied the knot of the root cause within me
Like a flower that releases its fragrance on time, even if you don't try to bloom
Moo-wi is not a pause, but a step that does not go against the flow
The state of enlightenment that lowers one’s posture without searching
