신부님의 세련된 농담 "후진 산입니다"

신부님께서 3주간의 북미 선기도 피정 일정을 마치고, 9일 귀국하셨습니다.

귀국 비행기에서 촬영하신 사진을 공유해 봅니다.

이 사진을 보내주시면서 신부님께서 "후진산입니다"라고 쓰셨습니다.

후지산의 오타였는데 절묘한 수법(?)이었습니다.

선진국 일본을 '후진 나라'라고 생각할 수 있는 유일한 사람이 한국인들 아닐까요?

어쩌면 그러한 한국인들의 마음을 신부님께서 실수로라고 긁어주신 셈입니다.

어쨌거나 멀리서 성큼성큼 다가오는 후지산은 아름답습니다.

The priest returned to Korea on the 9th after completing a three-week retreat and pastoral mission in North America.

He shared this photograph, which he took from the plane on his flight home.

When he sent the picture, he wrote:

"This is Hujin Mountain."

It was actually a typo for Mount Fuji, but it turned out to be a wonderfully clever slip.

After all, aren't Koreans perhaps the only people who could think of highly developed Japan as a "backward country"?

Perhaps, even if unintentionally, the priest happened to scratch that uniquely Korean sentiment with his innocent typo.

In any case, Mount Fuji, steadily drawing closer from the distance, is beautiful.
