오직 사랑 안에서 참된 것을 하여                                                            (엡4:12~24)  엡4:12   이는 성도를 온전케 하며 봉사의 일을 하게하며 그리스도의 몸을 세우려 하심이라Eph4;12   For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:엡4:13   우리가 다 하나님의 아들을 믿는 것과 아는 일에 하나가 되어 온전한 사람을 이루어 그리스도의 장성한 분량이 충만한 데까지 이르리니Eph4:13   Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:엡4:14   이는 우리가 이제부터 어린 아이가 되지 아니하여 사람의 궤술과 간사한 유혹에 빠져 모든 교훈의 풍조에 밀려 요동치 않게 하려 함이라Eph4:14   That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;엡4:15   오직 사랑 안에서 참된 것을 하여 범사에 그에게까지 자랄찌라 그는 머리니 곧 그리스도라Eph4:15   But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:엡4:16   그에게서 온 몸이 각 마디를 통하여 도움을 입음으로 연락하고 상합하여 각 지체의 분량대로 역사하여 그 몸을 자라게 하며 사랑 안에서 스스로 세우느니라Eph4:16   From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.엡4:17   그러므로 내가 이것을 말하며 주 안에서 증거하노니 이제부터는 이방인이 그 마음의 허망한 것으로 행함 같이 너희는 행하지 말라Eph4:17   This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,엡4:18   저희 총명이 어두워지고 저희 가운데 있는 무지함과 저희 마음이 굳어짐으로 말미암아 하나님의 생명에서 떠나 있도다Eph4:18   Having the understanding darkened, being alienated form the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:엡4:19   저희가 감각 없는 자 되어 자신을 방탕에 방임하여 모든 더러운 것을 욕심으로 행하되Eph4:19   Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.엡4:20   오직 너희는 그리스도를 이같이 배우지 아니하였느니라Eph4:20   But ye have not so learned Christ;엡4:21   진리가 예수 안에 있는 것 같이 너희가 과연 그에게서 듣고 또한 그 안에서 가르침을 받았을찐대Eph4:21   If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:엡4:22   너희는 유혹의 욕심을 따라 썩어져 가는 구습을 좇는 옛 사람을 벗어 버리고Eph4:22   That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;엡4:23   오직 심령으로 새롭게 되어Eph4:23   And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;엡4:24   하나님을 따라 의와 진리의 거룩함으로 지으심을 받은 새 사람을 입으라Eph4:24   And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.  * 합당하게(άζίως, 악시오스) 원뜻은 적합하게. ‘적합하게.’ 즉 분수나 신분에 맞도록 적절하게. * 만유(πα̑ς, 파스) 원뜻은 ‘모든.’ 우주만물 혹은 천하 만민이란 뜻입니다. * 올라가셨다(άναβαίνω, 아나바이노) 그리스도의 승천과 우주적인 승리를 가리키는 완곡한 표현입니다. * 수고하여(κοπιάω, 코피아오) ‘코포스’(노동, 피곤)에서 파생. 여기서는 피곤하여 지칠 정도로 열심히 노동에 힘쓰라는 뜻입니다.
