The Way Of The Spiritual Leader - 231 Chapter 4. The Progress of Church and Witnessing Section 2 - Witnessing 3. The Key Methods of Witnessing 7) Witnessing to Christian Churches - 1
When you think about who you should evangelize to, you should find young people who believe in Christianity, if possible.
Wherever you go, those in charge of evangelism should know the list of all the people who attend church, and when they go there, they should meet first the pastor, then the elders, then the youth leadership director, and then the youth group president. They must then think about how to motivate the youth group president.
When they meet with pastors, they must use all means to persuade them so that the pastors and elders do not object, but say, "You're doing great work! Please tell the young people!" They must make an effort to go into the auditorium and find an opportunity to speak in front of all the believers.
And when you go to an established church, you must have at least three topics prepared that you can talk about at any time. There is no need to start off by saying, "The Lord will not come on the clouds." If you don't talk about it in the right order, or if you don't talk about it in a logical way, you will be kicked out.
When speaking to young people, you should say, "Don't just listen to what I have to say, but tell me everything you want to say." Even when speaking to pastors, a small person should not go and say, "Pastor, I've come to tell you the Word," but rather, "I'm still young, and you're the leader here, so please tell me the Word that will help me," and you should listen to what he has to say first.
If you do this, the pastor will feel comfortable speaking. After listening to him, ask, "What do you think about this problem?" and listen carefully. Don't oppose from the beginning. First, everyone listens affirmatively, and later criticize, saying, "There is a logical contradiction in that. Here's what I think."
After that, tell the pastor a memorable topic. Say, "Here is the new truth I know. Please listen to it once," and tell him a small story. Then invite him, saying, "I am working on a new movement to resolve these unknown facts, so please come to this revival meeting once."
Hand the pastor a book and say, "I will be here for a week, so please read it." Then, even if he can't read the whole thing, he will read a few topics that he wants to read, and he will be interested and will want to ask about it. (54-336) |
