오랜 침묵을 깨고 재 결성하여 발표한 1999년 앨범

〈No Exit〉에서 싱글 커트 된 곡으로 영국 차트 1위를 기록한

히트 곡입니다.

1976년 정식 데뷔하면서 영화 〈American Gigolo〉의 주제곡

(O.S.T)으로 6주간 미국 빌 보드 싱글 차트 1위를 기록한

"Call me"와 "Heart Of Glass" 등 수많은 히트곡을 발표 했던

6인조 혼성 그룹 「Blondie(블론디)」...

어쨌거나 이 노래 『Maria』는 2006년 국내에서 개봉된 영화

〈미녀는 괴로워〉에서 주연 여배우 '김아중'이 번안 하여 부른

버전이 팬들에게 많이 알려지기도 했습니다.
