Romans 5:12~19

12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned


13 To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law.


14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.


15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many


16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.


17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ


18 Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.


19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

12 그러므로 죄가 한 사람을 통해 세상에 들어오고, 죄를 통해 죽음을 맞이한 것처럼, 모든 사람에게 죽음이 찾아왔습니다. 왜냐하면 모든 사람이 죄를 지었기 때문입니다


13 확실히 말하자면, 죄는 법이 주어지기 전에 세상에 있었지만, 법이 없는 곳에서는 누구의 계정에도 죄가 부과되지 않습니다.


14 그럼에도 불구하고 아담 시대부터 모세 시대까지 죽음은 명령을 어겨 죄를 짓지 않은 사람들 위에 군림했으며, 아담은 다가올 사람의 전형적인 모습을 하고 있습니다.


15 그러나 그 선물은 침입과 같지 않습니다. 만약 많은 사람들이 한 사람의 침입으로 죽었다면, 하나님의 은혜와 한 사람 예수 그리스도의 은혜로 얻은 선물이 얼마나 더 많은 사람들에게 넘쳤겠습니까


16 하나님의 선물도 한 사람의 죄의 결과와 비교할 수 없습니다: 심판은 한 가지 죄를 따르고 비난을 가져왔지만, 그 선물은 많은 불법 행위를 따르고 정당화를 가져왔습니다.


17 한 사람의 침입으로 인해 죽음이 그 한 사람을 통해 지배된다면, 하나님의 풍성한 은혜와 의로운 선물을 받는 사람들이 예수 그리스도라는 한 사람을 통해 삶에서 얼마나 더 지배하게 될까요


18 결과적으로, 한 번의 무단 침입이 모든 사람들에게 비난을 초래한 것처럼, 한 번의 의로운 행위도 모든 사람들에게 정당화와 생명을 가져다주었습니다.


19 한 사람의 불순종을 통해 많은 사람이 죄인이 된 것처럼, 한 사람의 순종을 통해서도 많은 사람이 의로워질 것입니다.
