The Avatamsaka Sutra, Ascent to the Peak of Mount Sumeru (승수미산정품 1)

13. 승수미산정품                                    十三. 昇須彌山頂品                      Book 13. Ascent to the Peak of Mount Sumeru       1.        一. 根本法會     爾時      如來威神力故      十方一切世界一一四天下閻浮提中      悉見如來      坐於樹下      各有菩薩      承佛神力      而演說法      靡不自謂恒對於佛      그때에 여래의 위신력으로 시방 일체 세계의 낱낱 사천하 염부제에서는 여래께서 나무 아래 앉아 계신 것을 다 보았습니다. 그리고 각각 보살이 있어 부처님의 신력을 받들어 법을 연설하며, 항상 부처님을 대하고 있다고 스스로 생각하지 않는 이가 없었습니다.      Then, by the spiritual power of the Enlightened One, in the Jambudvipa continent of all worlds in the ten directions there was seen the Enlightened One sitting under a tree, in each place with enlightening beings receiving the Buddha’s spiritual power and expounding the teaching, all thinking they were at all times facing the Buddha in person. Then; 그때에by the spiritual power; 위신력으로 of the Enlightened One; 여래의 in the ten directions; 시방 in the Jambudvipa continent; 낱낱 사천하 염부제에서는 of all worlds; 일체 세계의there was seen; 다 보았습니다 the Enlightened One sitting under a tree; 여래께서 나무 아래 앉아 계신 것을in each place with enlightening beings; 그리고 각각 보살이 있어receiving the Buddha’s spiritual power; 부처님의 신력을 받들어 expounding the teaching; 법을 연설하며they were ~ facing the Buddha; 부처님을 대하고 있다고 at all times; 항상 all thinking ~ in person; 스스로 생각하지 않는 이가 없었습니다
