Title: Tickets for the Next Life (Travel Destination)
As we age, it is said that "we must move to live." Everyone wants to live a long and healthy life without suffering until the end.
Therefore, by exercising, monitoring nutrition, and engaging in hobbies, we stimulate the extension of a healthy lifespan while taking care of social and mental well-being.
Diet, lifestyle habits, and exercise habits are crucial for a healthy lifespan. However, adhering to these three alone does not guarantee the achievement of our desired goals.
Being alive and breathing on this planet called Earth with our human body is undoubtedly for a reason.
That reason is the ultimate goal we must strive to reach in human life.
Ensuring that our body machine functions well is not only our duty but also a necessary condition and the foundation for everything we do in life.
However, if we only focus on nurturing our physical bodies, we are no different from animals. The difference between dogs and humans lies in the fact that humans can engage in deep thinking.
These three correct habits contribute to physical well-being, but they are under the administration of our mind that regulate and control them. Maintaining a Normal Mind (평상심), Even Breathing (고른 호흡), Action in moderation form the foundation for inner peace.
As human beings, we should engage in human relationships, read books, contemplate, have enlightening experiences, and base our actions on them, continuously upgrading ourselves in Body and Mind with Spirit until the end of our lives.
That is why it is good to engage in economic activities until the end.
- Economic activity means constantly engaging in relationships, requiring good thoughts, and deep contemplation.
- To pursue meaningful activities, we also compete with others and focus on generating good ideas.
- It is because we have the capability and permission from our health and abilities that we passionately pursue continuous self-development and exploration for social communication.
In the process, we stumble, fall, and stumble again, searching for the right and better path.
That is "human life."
Within that, we can explain why humans must experience suffering, practice patience, show understanding, be generous, and love.
The clear truth is that all of these are for our own sake.
Once we realize this, we may collide with momentary confusion regarding fluctuating, superstitious, and religious beliefs.
Many illogical and unrealistic things have been passed down to us from our parents and society since birth.
In other words, it also means wasting time, money, and energy on unnecessary things, things that don't need to be done, and frivolous and futile actions that exist in our subconscious.
Human beings create their own values and levels of consciousness up to this very moment. It determines the degree of each individual's refinement, character, and personality in human relationships, as well as the social level and extent throughout life.
The human body is a machine that needs to move to survive, and it is said that the "Human Mind" controls and regulates it. As time goes by and the body machine ages, it becomes increasingly evident how much "one's state of mind" has a profound impact on the human body machine. Moment by moment, in each and every experience, it is easy to perceive through daily life.
Even if the mind is slightly agitated and not at ease, the head becomes dizzy, confusion sets in, digestion becomes difficult, and the body trembles uncontrollably, experiencing moments where one can not maintain control.
All of these things are influenced by one's "state of mind."
As an example, people who have had a near-death experience or who have miraculously survived death undergo a complete transformation in their values and lifestyle patterns. In other words, they become new individuals and wisely weave together how to live and cultivate the remaining life until the end.
The changing points are as follows:
- The mind becomes softer and more relaxed.
- They genuinely possess a heart of giving.
- Their perspective on the world becomes fair.
- They do not engage in trivial tactics or manipulations and are not swayed by the crowd mentality.
- They live their one and only life truthfully.
- They act as they are without comparing themselves to others.
- They possess a heart of service, love, and genuine gratitude.
In essence, it means to live out one's daily actions with a loving heart, an awakening mind, a believing heart, and a heart that seeks understanding. It is rooted in a heart of reverence, prayer, humility, gratitude, and the willingness to lower oneself truly.
It is the core essence of the philosophy of human life that countless sages from hundreds, thousands of years ago have emphasized in numerous scriptures that have been passed down.
It is the most fundamental aspect of human life that serves as the foundation for religion, philosophy, humanities, and beyond, surpassing anything that is awe-inspiring, mysterious, and profound.
If anything else except for words above mentioned, it is what humans have created.
Truth is not complex or profound, but simple and concise.
Those who possess such a mindset or state of mind are called enlightened individuals, and their lives are referred to as enlightened lives.
This can only be achieved when there is transformation in consciousness, resulting in a change in all daily habits and patterns of behavior.
It is possible for anyone because that is how we are created.
The changed patterns of lifestyle and behavior are not difficult or profound, but based on simple and basic principles that everyone knows.
They involve loving and sharing, helping and giving, constantly striving to improve one's own life while contemplating and reflecting upon oneself.
They do not discriminate between "your side" and "my side" and are not entangled in trivial matters and manipulations.
Because something is lacking,
because something is sought and desired, they unknowingly bind themselves with their own desires and preferences.
On the right path of life, they always recognize the importance of the present moment and strive to do their best, avoiding unnecessary things.
This becomes the foundation for extending a healthy lifespan and elevating one's own values and level of consciousness. Therefore, it comes close to the ultimate goal of human life.
In other words, the ultimate goal of human life is to cultivate Love and promote Spiritual Growth, becoming the source of driving force that makes life less difficult, less challenging, and less painful, while achieving what one desires, needs, and seeks.
People say so often that a person comes into this world empty-handed and leaves empty-handed.
But they take the "Love" they have accumulated using the borrowed machine called the body.
That becomes their Report Card of Life.
It becomes the "Ticket to the Next Destination."
The magnitude of that love
depends on each individual's mindset.
That is the Ilcheyusimzo (일체 유심조, 一切唯心造) in Korean, which means
" Throughout life, everything in the world depends on my mindset."
Understanding the meaning is easy,
but only through repeated experiences of it, one can approach the essence that makes it move.
Most people interpret it
from "a human perspective" alone.
If it can not be interpreted from "a natural perspective," it is as futile as overlooking an oasis in the desert. Thus, it is impossible to truly experience the hidden meaning of the words. The most important thing we should know in a correct practice while living is to be able to understand how to think from Nature Prospective.
