New Testament Christians do not have to abide by all the Old Testament laws

—for example, we’re free to eat pork and shellfish, 

and we don’t have to make sacrifices in the temple. 

We also shouldn’t pray /for the destruction of our enemies /as Old Testament authors did!

 But it takes discernment to understand these matters. 

When we study the Bible, we must ask the Holy Spirit for understanding. 

He’ll always help!
