국회의원 보궐선거가 끝났네요..
관련 기사들 중에 정치적 "텃밭" 이라는 용어에 대해서..
미국의 언론들은 "Turf"라고하고... 트럼프대통령은 "Backyard" 라고 한다네요..
Turf를 듣다가.. "텃밭"이 "Turf"의 어원이 아닐까 하는 생각을 해봤습니다.
참고로 다들 아시겠습니다만, 골 - 산과 산 사이 골짜기.. 골이죠.. 영어로는 "col" 입니다
