3. Job purpose and key deliverables
1) Job purpose
- Assess performance of BAT and competitors trade strategies to enhance the effectiveness of future programs
- Lead the development of TM&D and customer programmes
- Engage the National Sales Team and Key Account Team in developing and managing an integrated trade strategy
- Management of the channel development budget(s)
- Internal and External issues resolution and risk management
- Active management of key internal and external stakeholders
2) Key deliverables
- Ensure a strategic investment plan for customer segments is in place and executed
- Identify and classify the retail universe in line with global retail classification methodology
- Ensure cost benefit analysis is conducted on all trade programs and activities
- Develop and manage realistic and comprehensive trade programs
- Manage the trade planning components as part of the annual company planning process
- Manage stakeholders effectively by communicating at the appropriate levels
- Seek new ways and improvements to manage and execute TM&D programmes and activities
4. Essential requirements
- At least 5 years experience in Marketing and/or similar roles in FMCG industry
- Strong experience in TM&D strategy and planning.
- Experience in people management
- Ability to influence at a number of levels as well as across functions
- External customer engagement capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple activities
- Strong Skills in Microsoft products(Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
