One man's transgression and one man's gift of grace (Romans 5:15-18)
The greatest damage the devil has done to christianity is that God is in heaven and humans on earth try to please God by doing good things by accepting God's approval through rationalists.
The saying that God is spirit, so He is everywhere is only in seminary, they say that God is in heaven and He is to come, so they say 'Only Jesus' and then do whatever they want.
There is no place where God is not, and the Bible says that God wants to make his dwelling place in us and be with us forever.
However, just as a daughter-in-law hates to attend her mother-in-law, when the Holy Spirit dwells in us, uncomfortable life troubles arise for a while due to internal repairs.
Because they hate this, they put God in heaven or leaves God outside and serve God outside, so they are only looking for signs or gifts.
Humans born with sin in Adam have a sinful nature to serve God as far away as possible, so the Bible calls this the spirit of the antichrist.
Q. Why is the gift of Christ different from Adam's sin?
“But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be died, much more the grace of God, and the gift by the grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, has abounded to many.” (Romans 5: 15)
A. Gift is given by God, and transgression is our own work.
That is why it says that gifts and crimes are not the same.
Adam's crime was inherited by all the people after him, and the proof of inheritance is that the concept of 'I am a sinner' came to people.
However, the grace granted by God was given as a gift of Jesus Christ, and this overflowed to many people. This cannot be compared to transgression.
It is a gift that pours out infinitely. What this gift means is that a person who was dead in Adam was transferred to Christ and wrapped in a life-swaddle within him.
“And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.” (Romans 5:16)
When reading Romans 5, always keep in mind Romans 4:25.
We must always understand the basics of believing in the fact that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was raised again to justify us.
Since one man Adam sinned, all human beings from then on inherited the sin automatically.
This does not mean that guilt is inherited.
Just because a parent is guilty of murder does not mean that the child inherits the guilt of murder.
The sins of the father are not passed on to the child.
But you inherit the concept of sin in your father.
It's inherited that humans themselves have a concept that something is wrong.
So the ancestral spirit is passed on to his descendants.
Sins are not passed on, but the spirit of sin is passed on to the descendants.
This is scary.
Although we have the concept of righteousness solved by Christ, Adam's fallen malignant and evil habits remain in us, so they become a stumbling block in our life of faith.
It has nothing to do with our salvation, but after we are saved, we must pray a lot with a broken heart to get rid of it.
The transgression that descended from one Adam was judged and condemned.
But the gift has led us to justification in many offenses.
These are not the same.
Because justification is by faith alone.
In fact, faith is everything.
As long as you firmly stand on the side of Christ with faith, you will surely overcome all structural evil and absurdity.
That is why the word “is passed from death to life” (John 5:24) is very important.
Why does the bible explain Adam and Christ symmetrically?
People keep thinking that there must be some procedure that people do on their own in order to go to Christ.
To change this concept, Romans 5 says that the sinners in Adam were collectively handed over to Christ.
It says that the subject of existence has changed through faith in this fact.
Q. What is the difference between those who belong to Adam and those who belong to Christ?
“For if by one man's offence death reigned by one, much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”(Romans 5:17)
A. It is the difference between being a servant of death and reigning as a king through life.
By one man, Adam, sin that has reigned to death entered in the world.
After that, everyone automatically became a servant to death.
For example, Jacob went down to Egypt with 70 of his descendants.
But later, the population of Israel is 603,550 over the age of 20.
It is said that the total number is about 2 million, but among them, only the first 70 are servants, and aren't the rest servants?
It's all servants.
All the people from the All the people from the servant have become servants.
In this way, when Adam becomes a slave of sin and a slave of death, everyone below him becomes a slave of sin and a slave of death.
Because of Adam, death has already been crowned as king over all human beings.
Therefore, anyone who is outside of Jesus Christ is under death and in darkness.
Of course, they are under the wrath of God.
So there is no peace and no joy.
Weaknesses come and diseases come, and death businesses such as hospitals and pharmacies prosper.
If you have enough bags of medicine in your home right now, check your faith.
In Adam, everyone is destined to be enslaved to sin and death, so we have no choice but to live like that outside of Christ.
Like the Israelites in Egypt, as soon as we were born, we lived as slaves without words.
But now, through the Lord Jesus Christ, we are no longer slaves to sin and death, but slaves to righteousness and life.
Now, as we who receive grace and the gift of righteousness, we reigne in life by one, Jesus Christ.
“Wherefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all man to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.” (Romans 5:18)
As you look at Romans 5, write Adam and Christ symmetrically on paper, and write down the results of Adam's sin and the results of Christ's grace under it.
A hallelujah shout will come out by itself.
The condemnation is due to Adam's one sin.
However, through Christ, we have delivered from the town of condemnation to the town of righteousness and life.
We have been delivered forever.
Hearing the Gospel, realizing the fact that it has already been delivered by the grace of the redemption of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross, we are jumping for joy and singing hymns.
