1. 목회자가 가져야 할 지도자세

3) 열의가 있어야 한다 - 1

인간은 누구나 열의를 가진 사람을 동경하는 것입니다. 열의를 가지고 직행하려는 사람은 그 앞길에 모험이 가중되어 오더라도 그것을 타파시킬 수 있는 것입니다. 그러나 열의가 없는 노력은 중단되기 쉬운 것입니다. 

그렇기 때문에 전진을 바라는 우리에게 있어서 가장 필요한 것은 내 자체가 어떻게 영속적으로 전진을 지속시킬 수 있는 열의를 보급받느냐 하는 것이 문제입니다.

열의가 없으면 자극을 받을 수 없는 것입니다. 또한 열의가 없는 자극은 필요 없는 것입니다. 강한 자극이라는 것은 강한 열의에 의해 인연되어진다는 사실을 생각하게 될 때, 열의에 찬 환경, 열의에 찬 개체, 열의에 찬 상대를 추구해야 하는 것입니다. 

완성된 인격, 무한한 인격을 추구하는 우리 인간에게는 무한한 열의가 없어 가지고는 안 되는 것입니다.

무한한 인격을 추구하는 우리 자체를 두고 볼 때, 언제나 영속적으로 그 열의를 추구할 수 있는 자체가 되어 있느냐, 그렇지 않으면 그러한 열의를 갖고 목적을 달성시키려 하는 내 자체가 되어 있느냐가 중요한 문제입니다. 이러한 두 입장 중 어느 한 입장을 취하지 않고는 완성된 인격을 추구할 수 없는 것입니다. (36-98)

3) 熱意がなければならない - 1

人間は誰でも熱意をもつ人に憧れるものです。熱意をもって直行しようとする人は、その行く手に冒険が加重されてこようとも、それを打破することができるものです。しかし熱意がない努力は、中断されやすいものです。

ですから前進を願う私たちにおいて一番必要なものは、私自身がどうやって連続的に前進することができる熱意の補給を受けるかが問題です。熱意がなければ刺激を受けることができないのです。また熱意のない刺激は必要がないのです。強い刺激は強い熱意によって因縁づけられるという事実を考えるとき、熱意に満ちた環境、熱意にみなぎる個体、熱意にみなぎる相対を追求しなければならないのです。

完成された人格、無限な人格を追求する私たち人間には、無限な熱意がなくては駄目なのです。無限な人格を追求することのできる私たち自身を見るとき、いつでも連続的にその熱意を追求することのできる自分自身になっているのか、そうでないならそういう熱意をもって目的を達成させようとする私自身になっているのかが重要な問題です。

こういう二つの立場のうち、どちらか一つの立場をなさずには、完成された人格を追求することはできないのです。（三六―九八）

3) You Must Have Zeal - 1

People respect those who are zealous. For a person who is moving forward with enthusiasm, no matter how great the hazards before him, he can conquer them all. However, attempts without zeal are easy to come to a halt.

For this reason, the most important things for us who wish for advancement is the question of how to be well supplied with the zeal that can maintain our progression forward. Without zeal, you cannot be stimulated.

Moreover, we do not need stimulus devoid of enthusiasm. As we consider the fact that strong stimulus comes in connection with the intense zeal, we must seek for environment full of zeal, individual beings full of zeal, and companions bubbling with enthusiasm.

For us humans who are seeking after perfect character and unlimited personality, we cannot be devoid of limitless zeal.

It is an important question for us as we are pursuing to cultivate unlimited character, whether or not we are ready to pursue that type of zeal forever, and if not, whether or not we are prepared to strive toward certain goals by possessing such enthusiasm. If you do not possess one of these two mindsets, then you cannot seek after perfect character. (36-98)
