창세기24장 말씀입니다.

[사랑하는 나의 가족]

하나님의 사람들이 영적으로 회복되기 위해서는 올바른 성경말씀을 읽어야 하기에 창세기부터 말씀을 올립니다.

물론 이 성경 말씀들도 아직은 부족하지만 부족한대로 하나님의 성령께서 자신이 말씀하신 말씀들을 올바르게

이해시켜주시기를 성령님께 간구 드립니다. 이 말씀들을 읽으시는 동안 성령께서 인도해주시기를 바랍니다.

1. 아브라함이 나이 많아 연로하니라. {주}께서 모든 일에서 아브라함에게 복을 주시니

And Abraham was old, [and] well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things. 

2. 아브라함이 자기 집에서 가장 나이 많은 종 곧 자기의 모든 소유를 관리하는 종에게 이르되, 원하건대 네 손을 내

    넓적다리 밑에 넣으라.

And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:

3. 내가 너로 하여금 하늘의 [하나님]이시며 땅의 [하나님]이신 {주}를 두고 맹세하게 할 터인즉 너는 나와 함께 거하고

    있는 가나안 족속의 딸들 중에서 내 아들을 위하여 아내를 취하지 말고

And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:

4. 오직 내 고향 내 친족에게로 가서 내 아들 이삭을 위하여 아내를 취하라, 하니

But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.

5. 그 종이 그에게 이르되, 만일 여자가 나를 따라 이 땅으로 오려 하지 아니하거든 내가 주인의 아들을 주인이 나오신

    그 땅으로 반드시 다시 데리고 가야 하리이까? 하매

And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest?

6. 아브라함이 그에게 이르되, 너는 조심하여 내 아들을 데리고 거기로 다시 가지 말라.

And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again.

7. 하늘의 {주} [하나님]께서 나를 내 아버지 집과 내 친족의 땅에서 취하시고 내게 말씀하시며 내게 맹세하여

    이르시기를, 내가 이 땅을 네 씨에게 주리라, 하셨으니 그분께서 자신의 천사를 네 앞에 보내시리라.

    네가 거기에서 내 아들을 위하여 아내를 취할지니라.

The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my fathers house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.

8. 만일 여자가 너를 따라오려 하지 아니하면 네가 나의 이 맹세에서 풀려나려니와 오직 내 아들을 데리고 거기로

    다시 가지는 말라, 하니라.

And if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again.

9. 그 종이 자기 주인 아브라함의 넓적다리 밑에 자기 손을 넣고 그 일에 관하여 그에게 맹세하였더라.

And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning that matter.

10. 그 종이 자기 주인의 낙타들 중에서 열 마리를 데리고 떠나니라. 그의 주인의 좋은 것이 다 그의 손에 있었더라.

      그가 일어나 메소포타미아로 가서 나홀의 도시에 이르러

And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master [were] in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor. 

11. 저녁때에 곧 여인들이 물을 길러 나오는 때에 자기 낙타들을 도시 밖 우물곁에서 무릎을 꿇고 앉게 하니라.

And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, [even] the time that women go out to draw [water]. 

12. 그가 이르되, 오 나의 주인 아브라함의 {주} [하나님]이여, 원하오니 이 날 내게 일이 잘되게 하사 나의 주인

      아브라함에게 친절을 베푸시옵소서.

And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.

13. 보소서, 내가 여기 우물곁에 섰다가 이 도시 사람들의 딸들이 물을 길러 나오면

Behold, I stand [here] by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water:

14. 한 소녀에게 이르기를, 원하건대 네 물 항아리를 내려서 내가 마시게 하라, 하리니 그녀가 이르기를, 마시소서.

      내가 당신의 낙타들에게도 마시게 하리이다, 하면 바로 그 소녀가 주께서 주의 종 이삭을 위하여 정하신

      여자이니이다. 이로써 내가 주께서 나의 주인에게 친절을 베푸신 줄을 알겠나이다, 하더라.

And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: [let the same be] she [that] thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.

15. 그가 말을 마치기도 전에, 보라, 리브가가 물 항아리를 어깨에 메고 나오는데 그녀는 아브라함의 형제 나홀의 아내

      밀가의 아들 브두엘에게 태어났더라.

And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abrahams brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

16. 이 소녀는 보기에 심히 아름답고 지금까지 남자를 알지 아니한 처녀더라. 그녀가 우물로 내려가서 물 항아리를

      가득 채워 가지고 올라오므로

And the damsel [was] very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up. 

17. 그 종이 달려가 그녀를 만나 이르되, 원하건대 내가 네 물 항아리의 물을 조금 마시게 하라, 하니

And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher.

18. 그녀가 이르되, 내 주여, 마시소서, 하며 급히 물 항아리를 자기 손에 내려 그에게 마시게 하고

And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.

19. 물을 마시게 한 뒤에 이르되, 내가 당신의 낙타들이 다 마실 때까지 그것들을 위해서도 물을 길으리이다, 하며

And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw [water] for thy camels also, until they have done drinking.

20. 급히 물 항아리를 구유에 비우고 다시 물을 길으려고 우물로 달려가서 그의 모든 낙타를 위하여 물을 길으므로

And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw [water], and drew for all his camels.

21. 그 사람이 그녀를 보고 놀라워하며 묵묵히 {주}께서 자기의 여정을 형통하게 해 주셨는지 여부를 알고자 하더라.

And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.

22. 낙타들이 마신 뒤에 그 사람이 반 세겔 나가는 금귀고리 한 개와 그녀의 손에 끼워 줄 십 세겔 나가는 금팔찌 두

      개를 취하고

And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten [shekels] weight of gold; 

23. 이르되, 너는 누구의 딸이냐? 원하건대 내게 말하라. 네 아버지 집에 우리가 묵을 곳이 있느냐? 하니

And said, Whose daughter [art] thou? tell me, I pray thee: is there room [in] thy fathers house for us to lodge in?

24. 그녀가 그에게 이르되, 나는 밀가가 나홀에게 낳은 아들 곧 밀가의 아들인 브두엘의 딸이니이다, 하고

And she said unto him, I [am] the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.

25. 또 덧붙여 그에게 이르되, 우리에게 짚과 여물이 다 충분히 있으며 묵을 방도 있나이다, 하매

She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in.

26. 그 사람이 머리를 숙여 {주}께 경배하고

And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD.

27. 이르되, 나의 주인 아브라함의 {주} [하나님]을 찬송할지로다. 그분께서 나의 주인에게 자신의 긍휼과 자신의

  진리가 끊어지지 않게 하셨으며 내가 길에 있을 때에 {주}께서 나를 인도하사 나의 주인의 형제 집에 이르게 하셨도다,

  하니라.

And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I [being] in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my masters brethren.

28. 소녀가 달려가서 이 일들을 자기 어머니 집의 사람들에게 고하였더라.

And the damsel ran, and told [them of] her mothers house these things.

29. 리브가에게 오라비가 있었는데 그의 이름은 라반이더라. 라반이 우물로 달려가 그 사람에게 이르니라.

And Rebekah had a brother, and his name [was] Laban: and Laban ran out unto the man, unto the well.

30. 그가 귀고리와 자기 누이의 손에 있는 팔찌를 보고 또 자기 누이 리브가의 말 곧, 그 사람이 내게 이같이 말하더라,

      하는 말을 듣고 그 사람에게로 나왔는데, 보라, 그가 우물에서 낙타들 곁에 서 있더라.

And it came to pass, when he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sisters hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spake the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well.

31. 라반이 이르되, {주}께 복을 받은 분이여, 들어오소서. 어찌하여 밖에 서 있나이까? 내가 집과 낙타들의 방을

      예비하였나이다, 하니라.

And he said, Come in, thou blessed of the LORD; wherefore standest thou without? for I have prepared the house, and room for the camels.

32. 그 사람이 집으로 들어가매 라반이 낙타들의 짐을 부리고 짚과 여물을 낙타들에게 주며 그 사람의 발과 그와 함께한

      사람들의 발을 씻을 물을 주고

And the man came into the house: and he ungirded his camels, and gave straw and provender for the camels, and water to wash his feet, and the mens feet that [were] with him.

33. 그 앞에 먹을 음식을 차려 놓았으나 그 사람이 이르되, 내가 내 용무를 말하기 전에는 먹지 아니하리이다, 하니

      라반이 이르되, 말씀하소서, 하매

And there was set [meat] before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on.

34. 그가 이르되, 나는 아브라함의 종이니이다.

And he said, I [am] Abrahams servant.

35. {주}께서 나의 주인에게 크게 복을 주셨으므로 그가 크게 되었으며 그분께서 양 떼와 소 떼와 은과 금과 남종과

      여종과 낙타와 나귀들을 그에게 주셨고

And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses.

36. 나의 주인의 아내 사라가 노년에 나의 주인에게 아들을 낳으매 주인이 자신의 모든 소유를 그에게 주었나이다.

And Sarah my masters wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath.

37. 나의 주인이 나로 하여금 맹세하게 하여 이르되, 너는 내 아들을 위하여 내가 거하고 있는 가나안 족속의 땅에서

      그들의 딸들 중에서 아내를 취하지 말고

And my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell:

38. 오직 내 아버지 집으로 내 친족에게로 가서 내 아들을 위하여 아내를 취하라, 하시기에

But thou shalt go unto my fathers house, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son.

39. 내가 나의 주인에게 이르되, 혹시 여자가 나를 따라오지 아니하면 어찌 하리이까? 한즉

And I said unto my master, Peradventure the woman will not follow me.

40. 주인이 내게 이르되, 나는 {주} 앞에서 걸으므로 그분께서 자신의 천사를 너와 함께 보내사 네 길을 형통하게

      하시리라. 너는 내 친족에게서 곧 내 아버지 집에서 내 아들을 위하여 아내를 취할지니라.

And he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my fathers house:

41. 그러면 네가 내 친족에게 이를 때에 나의 이 맹세에서 풀려날 것이요, 만일 그들이 네게 주지 아니할지라도 네가

      내 맹세에서 풀려나리라, 하셨나이다.

Then shalt thou be clear from [this] my oath, when thou comest to my kindred; and if they give not thee [one], thou shalt be clear from my oath.

42. 내가 이 날 우물에 이르러 말하기를, 나의 주인 아브라함의 {주} [하나님]이여, 만일 주께서 나의 가는 길을 형통하게

      하실진대

And I came this day unto the well, and said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go:

43. 보소서, 내가 이 우물곁에 섰다가 처녀가 물을 길러 오거든 그녀에게 이르기를, 원하건대 물 항아리의 물을 내게

      조금 주어 마시게 하라, 할 때에

Behold, I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin cometh forth to draw [water], and I say to her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher to drink;

44. 그녀가 내게 이르기를, 당신은 마시소서, 하고 또, 내가 당신의 낙타들을 위해서도 길으리이다, 하면 바로 그 여자가

      {주}께서 나의 주인의 아들을 위하여 정해 주신 자가 되리이다, 하며

And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: [let] the same [be] the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my masters son.

45. 내가 마음속으로 말을 끝마치기도 전에, 보라, 리브가가 물 항아리를 어깨에 메고 나와서 우물로 내려가 물을

      긷기에 내가 그녀에게 이르기를, 원하건대 내가 마시게 하라, 한즉

And before I had done speaking in mine heart, behold, Rebekah came forth with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down unto the well, and drew [water]: and I said unto her, Let me drink, I pray thee.

46. 그녀가 급히 물 항아리를 어깨에서 내려놓으며 이르되, 마시소서. 내가 당신의 낙타들에게도 마실 것을 주리이다,

      하기에 내가 마시매 그녀가 낙타들에게도 마시게 하였나이다.

And she made haste, and let down her pitcher from her [shoulder], and said, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: so I drank, and she made the camels drink also.

47. 내가 그녀에게 물어 이르기를, 너는 누구의 딸이냐? 한즉 그녀가 이르되, 밀가가 나홀에게 낳은 아들 곧 나홀의

      아들인 브두엘의 딸이니이다, 하기에 내가 귀고리를 그녀의 얼굴에 끼워 주며 팔찌를 그녀의 손에 끼워 주고

And I asked her, and said, Whose daughter [art] thou? And she said, The daughter of Bethuel, Nahors son, whom Milcah bare unto him: and I put the earring upon her face, and the bracelets upon her hands.

48. 나의 주인 아브라함의 {주} [하나님]께서 나를 바른 길로 인도하사 내 주인의 형제의 딸을 그의 아들을 위하여

      취하게 하셨으므로 내가 머리 숙여 {주}께 경배하고 그분을 찬양하였나이다.

And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my masters brothers daughter unto his son.

49. 이제 당신들이 친절하게 진실하게 나의 주인을 대접하시려거든 내게 말하고 그렇지 아니할지라도 내게 말하여

      내가 오른쪽으로든 왼쪽으로든 가게 하소서, 하니라.

And now if ye will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me: and if not, tell me; that I may turn to the right hand, or to the left.

50. 그때에 라반과 브두엘이 응답하여 이르되, 이 일이 {주}로부터 나왔으니 우리는 그대에게 나쁘다 좋다 할 수 없노라.

Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, The thing proceedeth from the LORD: we cannot speak unto thee bad or good.

51. 보라, 리브가가 그대 앞에 있으니 그녀를 데리고 가서 {주}께서 말씀하신 대로 그녀가 그대 주인의 아들의 아내가

      되게 하라, 하매

Behold, Rebekah [is] before thee, take [her], and go, and let her be thy masters sons wife, as the LORD hath spoken.

52. 아브라함의 종이 그들의 말을 듣고 땅에 엎드려 {주}께 경배하며

And it came to pass, that, when Abrahams servant heard their words, he worshipped the LORD, [bowing himself] to the earth.

53. 은 보석과 금 보석과 옷을 가져와 리브가에게 주고 그녀의 오라비와 어머니에게도 귀한 것들을 주니라.

And the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave [them] to Rebekah: he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things. 

54. 그들 곧 그 종과 그와 함께한 자들이 먹고 마시고 온 밤을 지낸 뒤 아침에 일어나니라. 그가 이르되,

      나를 나의 주인에게로 보내어 주소서, 하니

And they did eat and drink, he and the men that [were] with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master.

55. 그녀의 오라비와 어머니가 이르되, 이 소녀가 며칠을, 적어도 열흘을 우리와 함께 있게 하라. 그 뒤에 그녀가 갈

      것이니라, 하매

And her brother and her mother said, Let the damsel abide with us [a few] days, at the least ten; after that she shall go. 

56. 그가 그들에게 이르되, 나를 막지 마소서. {주}께서 내 길을 형통하게 하셨사오니 나를 보내어 내 주인에게로

      돌아가게 하소서, 하매

And he said unto them, Hinder me not, seeing the LORD hath prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master.

57. 그들이 이르되, 우리가 소녀를 불러 그녀의 입에서 물어보리라, 하고

And they said, We will call the damsel, and enquire at her mouth.

58. 리브가를 불러 그녀에게 이르되, 네가 이 사람과 함께 가려느냐? 하니 그녀가 이르되, 가겠나이다, 하더라.

And they called Rebekah, and said unto her, Wilt thou go with this man? And she said, I will go.

59. 그들이 자기들의 누이 리브가와 그녀의 유모와 아브라함의 종과 그의 사람들을 보내며

And they sent away Rebekah their sister, and her nurse, and Abrahams servant, and his men.

60. 리브가를 축복하여 그녀에게 이르되, 너는 우리의 누이로다. 너는 수천 수백만의 어머니가 될지어다.

      네 씨가 자기들을 미워하는 자들의 문을 소유할지로다, 하니라.

And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou [art] our sister, be thou [the mother] of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.

61. 리브가가 일어나 자기 소녀들과 함께 낙타를 타고 그 사람을 따라가니 그 종이 리브가를 데리고 자기 길로 가니라.

And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way.

62. 이삭이 라해로이 우물 길에서 왔으니 이는 그가 남쪽 지방에 거하였기 때문이더라.

And Isaac came from the way of the well Lahairoi; for he dwelt in the south country.

63. 이삭이 저물 때에 들에 나가 묵상하다가 눈을 들어 바라보니, 보라, 낙타들이 오더라.

And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels [were] coming. 

64. 리브가가 눈을 들어 이삭을 보고는 낙타에서 내렸으니

And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel.

65. 이는 그녀가 그 종에게 이르기를, 들에서 우리를 만나러 걸어오는 이 사람이 누구니이까? 하매 그 종이 이르기를,

      나의 주인이로소이다, 하였기 때문이더라. 그러므로 리브가가 베일을 취하여 자기를 가리니라.

For she [had] said unto the servant, What man [is] this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant [had] said, It [is] my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself.

66. 그 종이 자기가 행한 일을 다 이삭에게 고하매

And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done.

67. 이삭이 리브가를 자기 어머니 사라의 장막으로 데려가 그녀를 취하니 그녀가 그의 아내가 되었더라.

      이삭이 리브가를 사랑하였으며 자기 어머니가 죽은 이후에 이삭이 위로를 얻었더라.

And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarahs tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mothers [death].
