Where? I wondered anxiously for a good while,But today I encountered the tree again. The hollow trunk of the Zelkova tree, enshrined as a landmark at the Woodland byJinyang Lake,revealed only its inner bones. They couldn’t possibly bear to let the tree go,So they sculpted and trimmed three premium products after removing only the intact flesh.Before the elegant cabinet, scholar-desk and mirror stand, I notice the reincarnation of the huge dead tree the fingertips of the craftsman kneaded as if in a sacred , spirit-possessed trance.Resembling the light-green seed leaf sprouting lush and green at each pattern and texture of the vertex—resembling a blossom.  환생 김 현 지  진주성 충렬사 앞 오래된 수호목으로600년을 살아온 느티가 사라졌다. 왜, 어디로? 한동안 참 궁금했느데 오늘 드디어 다시 만났다 진양호 우드랜드에 랜드마크로 모셔진속뼈만 남은 느티의 빈 몸피  차마 그냥은 보낼 수 없어 성한 살만 조금씩 발라내어겨우 겨우 다듬었다는 명품 석점귀티 흐르는 반닫이, 경상, 좌경대의 단아한 자태 앞에서匠人(장인)의 손끝이 접신하듯 빚어낸죽은 거목의 환생을 본다절정의 무늬 결마다 파릇파릇 돋아나는연초록 떡잎 같은, 꽃 송아리 같은....   Water Drop ENS802  주 경 림 joo, Kyung-lim 朱卿林  It comes down to the dark earth Gathers, flows down, does a somersault—Puts down its roots,Using as fertilizer the shadow larger than its body What seeds will sprout from the field of water-drops?Will the leaves that resemble Thousand Character Classic spread amply? Though the roundly ripe seeds gesture toward trust,My mind lingers more around the broken water-drops—I wouldn’t mind the shells.  The water-drops full of wounds— only the shells remain. Note: Water Drop ENS802 is a painting by Kim Tshang-yeul.     물방울 ENS802* 주 경 림   검은 땅으로 내려온다 맺혔다 흘러내리다 공중제비 돈다제 몸집보다 큰 그림자를 밑거름 삼아뿌리 내린다 물방울밭에서는 어떤 싹이 돋을까천자문 모양의 이파리들이 다복이 펼쳐질까 동글게 야문 씨앗에는 믿음이 가지만찌그러진 물방울에 더 마음이 머문다쭉정이라도 괜찮다 상처투성이, 껍질만 남았다 * 김창열 Water Drops ENS802, 1980 acrylic and oil on canvas, 91.5 x 73.5 cm
