it takes 45 hours to drive from Vancouver to Toronto and Toronto normally gets plenty of snow, Toronto 's annual average snowfall total is 76 inches per winter, compared to Vancouver 13 inches of yearly snowfall.

I live in Brampton, Ontario, an hour from Toronto and it's not like that, we are at -10 but everything continues.

Average snowfall: Per Environment Canada, the average snowfall in Vancouver is around 33 cm (13 inches) PER YEAR. However, snowfall amounts can vary widely from year to year, and some winters may see little to no snowfall. so this is why they are calling it the worst. LOL very very much less snow per year in winter than anywhere else in the country

It is typical in Canada, each year we have severe weather from January till End Feb, and all jurisdictions are handling it as usual...

Toronto is only one city in Canada ...Canada happens to be the 2 nd largest country in the world...Check your maps to see where Toronto,Halifax, Vancouver,Canada are in relation to each other...There was a blizzard in Alberta...but now have temps of -30c/-50c...and not paralized by what used and is a Canadian winter...Parts of, not all of Canada is 'paralized'..
