권서연

신의 숨소리를 듣기 위해 어둠의 폐부를 뚫고 내려갔다. 지하 8층 습한 암벽 사이, 빛을 포기한 영혼의 직립이 숨을 쉬고 있었다. 수직의 환기구는 지상의 숨을 가늘게 길어 올리고, 암반을 적신 눈물은 보이지 않는 하늘을 향해 깊은 우물을 팠다. 더 이상 내려갈 곳 없는 바닥에 찍힌 발자국. 환기구 끝에 걸린 한 점의 별이 선명하게 차오른다.

번지 잃은 수직의 미로

하늘을 긁는 박제된 동굴. 고도를 기다리는 데린쿠유에서 나는 어둠을 꺼내어 오래도록 말라버린 눈물을 길었다.

Derinkuyu (in Türkiye)

To hear the breath of God, I descended through the lungs of darkness. Between the damp rock walls of the eighth underground level, the upright form of souls that had renounced the light was still breathing. The vertical ventilation shaft drew up the breath of the earth in a thin stream, and tears that had soaked the bedrock dug a deep well toward an unseen sky. Footprints stamped upon the floor where there was nowhere left to descend-A single star, caught at the end of the shaft, rises into sharp clarity.

A vertical labyrinth that has lost its address.

A fossilized cave scratching at the sky-In hopeless Derinkuyu, I drew darkness from its depths and drew up tears that had long since run dry.
