모든 것에 발라 거룩하게 하고                                               (레8:1~15) 레8:1   여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대Lev8:1   And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,레8:2   너는 아론과 그 아들들고 그 의복과 관유와 속죄제의 수송아지와 수양 둘과 무교병 한 광주리를 이끌고Lev8:2   Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;레8:3   온 회중을 회막문에 모으라Lev8:3   And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.레8:4   모세가 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신대로 하매 회중이 회막 문에 모인지라Lev8:4   And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.레8:5   모세가 회중에게 이르되 여호와께서 행하라고 명하신 것이 이러하니라 하고Lev8:5   And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done.레8:6   아론과 그 아들들을 데려다가 물로 그들을 씻기고Lev8:6    And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.레8:7   아론에게 속옷을 입히며 띠를 띠우고 겉옷을 입히며 에봇을 더하고 에봇의 기묘하게 짠 띠를 띠워서 에봇을 몸에 매고Lev8:7   And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.레8:8   흉패를 붙이고 흉패에 우림과 둠밈을 넣고Lev8:8   And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.레8:9   그 머리에 관을 씌우고 그 관 위 전면에 금패를 붙이니 곧 거룩한 관이라 여호와께서 모세에게 명하심과 같았더라Lev8:9   And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.레8:10   모세가 관유를 취하여 장막과 그 안에 있는 모든 것에 발라 거룩하게 하고Lev8:10   And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them.레8:11   또 단에 일곱 번 뿌리고 또 그 단과 그 모든 기구와 물두멍과 그 받침에 발라 거룩하게 하고Lev8:11   And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them.레8:12  또 관유로 아론의 머리에 부어 발라 거룩하게 하고Lev8:12   And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.레8:13   모세가 또 아론의 아들들을 데려다가 그들에게 속옷을 입히고 띠를 띠우며 관을 씌웠으니 여호와께서 모세에게 명하심과 같았더라Lev8:13   And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles and put bonnets upon them: as the LORD commanded Moses.레8:14   모세가 또 속죄제의 수송아지를 끌어오니 아론과 그 아들들이 그 속죄제 수송아지 머리에 안수하매Lev8:14   And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.레8:15   모세가 잡고 그 피를 취하여 손가락으로 그 피를 단의 네 귀퉁이 뿔에 발라 단을 깨끗하게 하고 그 피는 단 밑에 쏟아 단을 속하여 거룩하게 하고Lev8:15   And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.  * 관유(משׁחה, 미쉬하) 원뜻은 ‘어루만지다, 기름을 붓다.’ 감람유에 여러 향품을 섞어 만든 거룩한 기름. 하나님의 일꾼(제사장, 선지자, 왕)을 세워 임함할 때나 성소 기물을 성별할 때 뿌리거나 바른다. * 우림과 둠밈(האוּרים ואת־התּמּים, 하우림 웨어트 하툼밈) ‘우림’ (빛)과 ‘툼밈’(온전함)은 하나님의 뜻을 묻는 신탁(神託) 도구로, 대제사장의 판결 흉패 안에 보관되었다. * 금 패(ציץ הזהב, 치즈 핫자하브) ‘금으로 된 빛나는 장식패.’ 제사장이 제사 때 쓴 거룩한 관 전면에 달린 것. 금 패에는 ‘여호와의 성결’(출39:30)이 새겨져 있다. * 깨끗하게 하고(חטא, 하타) 원뜻은 ‘벗어나다’ 강의형으로는 ‘깨끗게 하다.’ 제사의 중심지인 제단 역시 피로 정결케 되지 않고는 그 역할을 감당할 자격이 없음을 보게 된다. * 속하여(כּפר, 카파르) 원뜻은 ‘덮(어주)다, 진정시키다.’ 죄를 용서하다, 죄를 덮어 없는 것처럼 여기다 는 뜻. * 위임식(מלּא, 밀루) 원뜻은 ‘채우다, 만족시키다.’ 어떤 일의 ‘완성, 봉헌’을 뜻하며 특히 하늘의 권위를 부여하여 특정한 자리에 세워 일하게 하는 예식을 말함. * 그 피를 바르고(נתן ··· הדּם, 나탄 ··· 핫담) 피를 통한 속죄와 정결의 호과를 위해 피를 바른다. 여기서 특히 듣고(귓부리), 행하는(손, 발) 일의 정결을 위해 피를 발랐다. * 먹으라(אכל, 아칼) 위임식 끝 순서로 여호와 앞에서의 공동식사(화목제물과 소제물)를 말한다. 정결을 위해 피를 발랐다. * 지키라(שׁמר, 솨마르) 본래 ‘(동산, 양 떼 등을) 지키다. 세밀히 관찰하다’ 는 뜻. 온 인격을 동원하여 세심히 살피고 준행하라는 뜻.
