A colorful tulip festival in England, the Irish World Dancing Championships in Dublin, ice climbing in Nepal, a severe dust storm in Iraq, performances from the first weekend of Coachella, piles of remaining abandoned rental bicycles in China, and much more.

🐗맥(貘, 테이퍼, Tapiridae)은 맥과(Tapiridae)에 속하는 대형 초식 포유류이다. 이들은 짧고 유연한 코뼈(proboscis, 길쭉한 코)를 가진 돼지와 유사한 형태를 가지고 있다. 맥(貘)은 남아메리카와 중앙아메리카, 동남아시아의 정글 및 숲 지역에 서식한다. 이들은 말과 코뿔소와 함께 기제목(홀수발가락을 가진 유제류)의 세 가지 현존하는 아과 중 하나이다. 현재는 단 하나의 속인 맥(貘)만 존재한다. 맥(貘)은 북미 대륙간 교류(Great American Interchange)의 일부로 파나마 지협이 형성된 후 북아메리카에서 홍적세 동안 남아메리카로 이주했다. 맥(貘)은 이전에 북아메리카 전역에 존재했지만 약 12,000년 전 후기 홍적세 말에 이 지역에서 멸종되었다.
