세계종말심판작정예정(世界終末審判作定豫定)의 말씀

(사13:1-22)
1 An oracle concerning Babylon that Isaiah son of Amoz saw:  2 Raise a banner on a bare hilltop, shout to them; beckon to them to enter the gates of the nobles.  3 I have commanded my holy ones; I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath--those who rejoice in my triumph.  4 Listen, a noise on the mountains, like that of a great multitude! Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms, like nations massing together! The LORD Almighty is mustering an army for war.  5 They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens--the LORD and the weapons of his wrath--to destroy the whole country.  6 Wail, for the day of the LORD is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty.  7 Because of this, all hands will go limp, every man's heart will melt.  8 Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame.  9 See, the day of the LORD is coming--a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger--to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it.  10 The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.  11 I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.  12 I will make man scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir.  13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger.  14 Like a hunted gazelle, like sheep without a shepherd, each will return to his own people, each will flee to his native land.  15 Whoever is captured will be thrust through; all who are caught will fall by the sword.  16 Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives ravished.  17 See, I will stir up against them the Medes, who do not care for silver and have no delight in gold.  18 Their bows will strike down the young men; they will have no mercy on infants nor will they look with compassion on children.  19 Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the glory of the Babylonians' pride, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah.  20 She will never be inhabited or lived in through all generations; no Arab will pitch his tent there, no shepherd will rest his flocks there.  21 But desert creatures will lie there, jackals will fill her houses; there the owls will dwell, and there the wild goats will leap about.  22 Hyenas will howl in her strongholds, jackals in her luxurious palaces. Her time is at hand, and her days will not be prolonged.

메데 바벨론 연합군에 의해 앗수르제국은 멸망을 당한다
BC 722 년 북이스라엘을 정복하고 유린했던 앗수르제국을...
BC(931-722) 솔로몬의 신하 여로보암을 시작으로 호세아 까지 약209년동안 존립했던 북이스라엘은 
한번도 하나님을 제대로 섬기지 못하고 하나님의 진노(震怒)만을 유발(誘發)시켰던 까닭에
하나님에 도구로 막대기로 사용한 앗수르의 살만에셀5세 와 사르곤2세에 의해서 철저하게 응징(膺懲)을 당했던 것

후에 메대는 바사의 고레스2세에 의해서 병합되었고
바벨론은 대 제국이 되었고
BC(605-597-586) 여호야김-여호야긴-시드기야 때 3차에 걸친 남유다 공격을 통해
예루살렘성이 처절하게 함락(陷落)됨으로 말 할 수 없는 처참(悽慘)속에
북이스라엘이 그랬던 것처럼 
BC(931-586) 345년을 하나님 섬김에 대하여 엎치락 뒤치락 했던 
하나님의 남유다에 대한 실망사(失望史)를 전개(展開)해 왔던 남유다는 
바벨론의 매를 맞고 급기야 렘25:11-12;29:10 70년 바벨론 유수형(幽囚刑)을 받고 싫든 좋든 감당해야 하는 세월의 시작을 하게 되었던 것

그런데 오늘의 본문은 
그 바벨론 그 메데에 대한 언급을 하신다
어찌 되었든 북이스라엘 남유다 모두를 응징하는데 사용되었던 민족들인 그들의 국가를...
그리고 바벨론으로 대표되는 그 바벨론을 철저하게 파괴(破壞)  응징(膺懲)하겠노라 ...말씀하심을 본다
BC539.10.12 
당시 실질적 통치자였던 나보니두스 와 성경에 등장하는 섭정왕 벨사살의 나라 바벨론은
페르시아제국 고레스2세에 의해서 
역사(歷史)의 막(幕)을 내리게 되고 만다

기원전 539년, 
티그리스 강 인근 오피스(Opis)에서 바벨론 군은 페르시아군에 의해 대패를 당하게 되는데
바벨론의 내부적 갈등(葛藤)과 부정부패(不正腐敗) 고관대작(高官大爵)들의 민생(民生)은 아랑곳하지 않고 
단5장의 내용을 통해 알게 되는 향락(享樂)에 빠짐의 세월에 염증을 느낀 바벨론 국민들은 
고레스의 군대를 해방자로 받아들이며 성문을 열어줌으로 
거의 무혈입성(無血入城)
바벨론은 종말(終末)을 고했다는 것이 
학자들의 보고(報告)

이런 역사적정황(歷史的情況)과 오늘의 본문을 대조 해 보면
오늘의 본문 바벨론에 대한 하나님의 응징은
세계종말심판작정예정(世界終末審判作定豫定)의 그림자 요 예징(豫徵)에 불과함을 
알게한다
특별히 10절 ‘The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. ’
12절 ‘I will make man scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir.  13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty’
이런 상황은 바벨론 멸망 당시의 상황과는 거리가 먼 것이 분명(分明)...
오히려 현대시대(現代時代)의 끝점...핵무기가 여기저기...화산폭발이 여기저기 동시다발적(同時多發的)으로 일어날 때 발생할 수 있는 상황을 가정해야 이해 될 수 있는 구절이라는 것

예수님 말씀하신 시대 종말현상에 대한 언급이 생각난다

I.  적그리스도의 출현 (마24:5) 
II.  난리와 난리소문,전쟁과 기근(마24:6~7)
III.  기독인들이 핍박받는 때가 도래할 것이라고 합니다(마24:9)
IV.  그리스도인간의 배신 (마24:10)
V.  거짓 선지자 출현 (마24:11)
VI.  불법이 극성을 부리며, 신의와 사랑의식의 감소현상이 있을것입니다.
VII. 복음의 완전전파(完全傳播) 와 재림,심판(마24:14) 

이제 6단계까지는 이미 진행중에 있고
마지막 7번째 단계만 남겨놓고 있는 상황

그야말로 Todd Smith가 언급한 것처럼
“마지막 시대의 마지막 주자”라는 표현 그대로
나는 이 시대에 목사로 부름받아 사역을 하고 있는 중...
현재 내가 무엇을 한다는 것은 이란격석(以卵擊石)
그러나 그럼에도 불구하고
마르틴 루터(Martin Luther1483.11.10.~1546.2.18.)가 말했고
스피노자(1632.11.24.~1677.2.21.)가 인용했을 법한 생각 ‘사과나무를 심겠다’는 정신
나도 나의 최선
성경독청묵기적(聖經讀聽黙祈適) 왕제중양(往弟重養) 언지신행일치(言知信行一致)의 삶을 살며
목양사역(牧羊使役)의 목표(目標)로 
어제와 같은 오늘의 삶을 주님 내 생명 부르실 때까지 해야 하겠노라는 다짐을
내 마음속에 또 외쳐본다
