🏔️🧊엑스트룀 빙붕(氷棚)은 퀸모드랜드의 프린세스 마사 해안에 있는 소라센 능선과 할프파리겐 능선 사이에 있는 빙붕(氷棚)이다. 이 빙붕은 노르웨이-영국-스웨덴 남극 탐험대(NBSAE, 1949~1952)에 의해 처음 지도화되었으며, 1951년 2월 24일 NBSAE 소속 스웨덴 기계 엔지니어 베르틸 엑스트룀이 운전하던 족제비(궤도 차량)가 콰르 빙붕 가장자리로 추락하여 익사한 사건의 이름을 따서 명명되었다. 이 빙붕의 면적은 8,700㎢이다. 가장자리 두께는 160m이고 해발 15m이다. 독일의 노이마이어 기지 3호는 북동쪽 아트카灣에 있다.

🗺퀸모드랜드(Dronning Maud Land 드로닝메우드란)은 남극 영유권 주장 지역 중 하나인 노르웨이의 해외 영토이다. 크기는 약 2,500만㎢ 정도이다. 이 영토는 서경 20도의 영국령 남극 지역 경계선에서부터 동경 44도 38'의 오스트레일리아령 남극 지역까지 이어진다. 대부분의 영토가 빙하으로 덮여져 있다. 1930년, 얄마르 리세르 라르센이 이 땅을 처음으로 발견하면서 당시 노르웨이 국왕이었던 웨일스 공녀 모드의 이름을 붙였고 1938년 1월 14일부터 노르웨이가 영유권을 주장하였다. 나치 독일에 의해 노르웨이가 점령당한 1939년부터 1945년 동안은 퀸모드랜드의 일부가 노이슈바벤란트에 편입되기도 하였었다. 한동안 남쪽 경계가 제대로 정의되지 않았지만 2015년에 남극점까지 영유권을 주장하기로 결정됐다.
