Bus Take an Icheon bound bus at Dongseoul Express Bus Terminal. The bus departs every 15 minutes from 6:30 to 21:40. Take an Icheon bound bus at Gangnam Express Bus Terminal. The bus departs every 30 minutes from 6:20 to 9:20. It takes about one hour.
Car Exit from Jungbu expressway or Yeongdong expressway at the Iche on tollgate and take state route #3 in the direction of Icheon.

Icheon Spa According to legend, Icheon Hot Springs first gained its reputation during the Joseon Dynasty, when a sick farmer experienced therapeutic effects after washing his face with the waters from the hot springs. The spa is still known to contain abundant sodium, and is a curative for skin ailments, eye problems, neuralgia, and gynecological diseases. There are major hotels in the downtown area, which operate public bath facilities, and swimming pools containing hot spring water.

Icheon Village of Ceramics is a definite destination for those interested in ceramics. There are traditional wood-fired kilns, where Goryeo celadon with its mystical bluish-green glaze and the Joseon white porcelain, noted for its simple and elegant lines, are produced. There are also more than 300 ceramics studios, numerous ceramics shops and a ceramics museum. In addition, ceramics classes are offered to the public. From the end of September to early October, the Icheon Ceramics Festival is held here. |
