🔥🚒수요일 이후 이스라엘 중부 지역을 휩쓴 산불이 대부분 진압되었다고 이스라엘 소방구조대가 밝혔다. 예루살렘과 텔아비브 사이 라트룬 지역의 약 20㎢를 태운 산불진화작업에 150개 이상의 소방대가 투입되었다. 이스라엘 구급대는 최소 12명이 연기 흡입으로 치료를 받았지만 사망자는 보고되지 않았다고 밝혔다. 이스라엘 방송 칸에 따르면 소방관 17명이 부상을 입었다고 한다. 당국은 고온 건조한 날씨와 강풍으로 산불 진압이 더욱 어려워졌으며, 한 고위 관계자는 산불이 다시 발생할 수 있다고 경고했다. 아얄론 소방서 부소방서장인 슐로미 하루쉬는 "나는 24년 동안 소방관으로 일하면서 수많은 산불을 경험했다"라고 말했다.
