사무엘상5장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 사무엘상5장

1. 블레셋 사람들이 [하나님]의 궤를 빼앗고 그것을 에벤에셀에서 아스돗으로 가져가니라.

And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod.

2. 블레셋 사람들이 [하나님]의 궤를 취하여 그것을 다곤의 집으로 가져다가 다곤 옆에 두었더라.

When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.

3. 아스돗 사람들이 다음 날 일찍 일어났는데, 보라, 다곤이 {주}의 궤 앞에서 얼굴을 땅에 댄 채 쓰러졌으므로 그들이

    다곤을 취해 다시 그것의 자리에 세워 두었더라.

And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon [was] fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.

4. 그들이 그 다음 날 아침에 일찍 일어났는데, 보라, 다곤이 {주}의 궤 앞에서 얼굴을 땅에 댄 채 쓰러졌고 다곤의 머리와

    두 손바닥은 끊어져서 문지방에 있고 다곤의 몸뚱이만 남았더라.

And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon [was] fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands [were] cut off upon the threshold; only [the stump of] Dagon was left to him. 

5.그러므로 다곤의 제사장들이나 다곤의 집에 들어가는 자는 이 날까지 아스돗에 있는 다곤의 문지방을 밟지 아니하니라.

Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagons house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day.

6. 그러나 {주}의 손이 아스돗 사람들에게 엄중하게 임하고 그분께서 종기로 그들 곧 아스돗과 그것의 주변 지역을 쳐서

    멸하시매

But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, [even] Ashdod and the coasts thereof.

7.아스돗 사람들이 그리된 것을 보고 이르되, 이스라엘의 [하나님]의 궤가 우리와 함께 거하지 못할지니 그의 손이 우리와

   우리의 신 다곤 위에 심하게 임하는도다, 하니라.

And when the men of Ashdod saw that [it was] so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

8. 그러므로 그들이 사람을 보내어 블레셋 사람들의 모든 영주를 모으고 이르되, 우리가 이스라엘의 [하나님]의 궤를

    어떻게 처리하랴? 한즉 그들이 대답하되, 이스라엘의 [하나님]의 궤를 가드로 옮겨가라, 하므로 그들이 이스라엘의

    [하나님]의 궤를 거기로 옮겨갔더니

They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Philistines unto them, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about unto Gath. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel about [thither].

9. 그들이 그 궤를 옮겨간 뒤에 {주}의 손이 매우 큰 파멸과 함께 그 도시를 치니라. 그분께서 큰 자든 작은 자든 그 도시

   사람들을 치시므로 그들의 은밀한 부위에 종기가 나니라.

And it was [so], that, after they had carried it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts.

10. 그러므로 그들이 [하나님]의 궤를 에그론으로 보내니라. [하나님]의 궤가 에그론에 이른즉 에그론 사람들이 부르짖어

      이르되, 그들이 이스라엘의 [하나님]의 궤를 우리에게로 가져다가 우리와 우리 백성을 죽이려 한다, 하고

Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And it came to pass, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to slay us and our people. 

11. 이에 사람을 보내어 블레셋 사람들의 모든 영주를 함께 모으고 이르되, 이스라엘의 [하나님]의 궤를 보내어 그것이

      그것의 본래 처소로 돌아가게 하고 그리하여 우리와 우리 백성을 죽이지 못하게 하자, 하니 이는 온 도시에 두루

      치명적인 파멸이 있었으며 거기서 [하나님]의 손이 심히 엄중하였기 때문이더라.

So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there. 

12. 그분께서 죽지 아니한 사람들을 종기로 치시매 그 도시의 부르짖음이 하늘에까지 이르렀더라.

And the men that died not were smitten with the emerods: and the cry of the city went up to heaven.
