You cannot stay in the place just because grace may abound.(Rom 6:1-2)
There are many pastors who especially emphasize repentance.
It also talks about the level of repentance.
By the law sins are discovered, and forgiven through the merits of Christ's death on the cross, so they hold on to that place and say that God will forgive them if they repent every time they commit a sin.
So, every time they worship, they urge those who have sinned to repent.
Can a person who repents for sins committed during the week truly worship in the Holy Spirit and in truth?
No, that is not the place where the Holy Spirit works.
Without the indwelling work of the Holy Spirit, we cannot know the truth, and we cannot have true worship.
Through baptism according to the death and resurrection of Christ on the cross, my old self, who was a sinner, died with Christ, was raised again, became one with Christ, and was united in his resurrection, so I finally became the righteous who lived in new life.
The Bible says that we have passed from death to life and have been reconciled to God in Christ.
If you do not hear the gospel properly, call on the name of the Lord on the other side of the cross where you become enemies of God and shed tears to repent of your sins, while people comport you, they are saying that God has cleansed us all of our sins, even though the Holy Spirit turns away.
This is no different from the Catholic confession, and it ends up being like a dog eating what it vomited and a pig washing , then going to a dirty place and rolling around.
Q. Is repeated repentance overflowing with grace okay?
“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?”(Romans 6:1)
A. No, you cannot just enjoy grace and stay there.
In Romans 5:20, “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abounded. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abounded.”
For those who descended through the line of sinners in Adam, the law entered and caused them all sinner.
Since the law made sin into sin, the riches of grace in Jesus Christ were great. Everyone is praising it.
However, just because we enjoy the joy of grace, will we always remain in sin? Where sin abounds, grace also abounds. Is it right to abide in sin to do so?
It is a very meaningful word for those who go back and forth like bats, rats on one side and birds on the other.
In fact, there are many people who do not receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit to obey according to the merit of the atonement of the cross, but only receive the baptism of water for the forgiveness of sins as John said, and remain in the place of sin.
So, it is absurd for us who have died to sin to only enjoy the grace of the forgiveness of sins.
“How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” (Romans 6:2)
No, Paul says emphatically.
According to Jude, “They who do not have the Holy Spirit mockers christians who want to live godly and holy in the truth in the last time.”(Jude 18-19)
'How can a human being be like that', he denies the fact.
Because people without the Holy Spirit are in the place of sin, death is given as their wages, so they only demonstrate their acting ability thoroughly hypocracy and there is no change in fruit.
However, the bible says: Are we not dead to sin? Are we not dead to our old identity? How can we, who have changed our identity in Christ, return to sin and live in it again? Now that we are children of light, how can we live in darkness again?
Of course, even children of light who are in the light can break away from the light and wander in the darkness following the desires of the flesh.
But those who know that if their fellowship with God is cut off is death, they will immediately confess and return to their place, and will be cleansed from all unrighteousness as well as the remission of their sins with that blood (1 John 1:9), and will again have fellowship to love and long for God in the Lord.
There is such repeated repentance (confession) to restore, but the identity of being a child of God remains the same.
However, if you do not follow the merits of redemption through the death of Christ on the cross and His resurrection and repent by saying 'I am a sinner' and then say all is forgiven and hold on to the spot in front of the cross, then that spot will not be given righteousness, holiness, glory, light, life and love are not given.
However, like the Jews under the law, they follow the signs and become servants of death, struggling to embellish and protect the business of death, that is, the beauty of the flesh.
However, Christians who return to Christ and have the faith to became united with the Lord's resurrection and life gain life and gain it more abundantly, and do the life business of righteousness, peace, and joy.
