1. 목회자가 가져야 할 지도자세

4) 포용성이 있어야 한다 - 1

지금 여러분들이 쭈그러지고 초라해 보이고 허술한 옷을 입고 있지만 모든 것을 갖추고 안팎으로 입체성을 갖추고 있으면 아름답게 보이는 것입니다. 그때의 미(美)라는 것은 천지 우주를 주고도 바꿀 수 없는 최고의 미(美)인 것입니다.

선생님의 눈으로 봐도 그러한데 하나님이 볼 때에는 더욱 그럴 것입니다. 이러한 자질을 갖추면 천지의 모든 것이 여러분에게 들어가 있는 것입니다. 눈을 보면 그 눈에 천지의 슬픔이 들어가 있고, 손이나 발 어디를 보더라도 천지를 대표한 것이 있는 것입니다. 이러한 걸작품을 만들자는 것이 선생님의 뜻입니다. 

선생님이 젊었을 때는 고물상에 가서 남들이 입다 버린 싸구려 옷을 사 입고 다녔습니다. 아가씨들이 따라올 수 없게 냄새가 나는 옷을 입고 다녔습니다. 옆에 가면 피해서 도망갈 그런 옷을 입고 다녔습니다. 통일교회 남자라면 털털해야 합니다. 양말에 구멍이 뚫려 있어도 당당할 줄 알아야 합니다. 

큰 산에 갖은 수목이 많고 오색의 새라든가 동물들이 깃드는 것과 마찬가지로 여러분들도 여러분에게 모든 것이 깃들 수 있는 그 무엇을 가져야 합니다.

그래야 자기 전체의 자세를 갖추어 그것이 하나의 미로서 나타나게 되는 것입니다. 옷을 잘 입었다고 아름다운 것이 아니고, 잘 차렸다고 아름다운 것이 아닙니다. 천지에 화제거리가 되고 관심거리가 되어 전부 다 부러워할 수 있는 자신이 되어야 합니다. (14-29)

4) 包容性がなければならない - 1

今、皆さんは縮こまり、みすぼらしく見え、粗末な着物を着ているけれども、すべてのものを備えて内外に立体性を取りそろえていれば、美しく見えるのです。そのときの美というのは、天地宇宙を与えても換えることのできない最高の美なのです。

先生の目で見てもそうですから、神様が見ればなおさらです。こういう資質を備えれば、天地すべてのものは皆さんに入っているのです。目を見ればその目に天地の悲しみが入っており、手や足、どこを見ても天地を代表するものがあるのです。こういう傑作品をつくろうというのが先生の志です。

先生が若かった時は、古物商に行って他人が着て捨てた安物の服を買って、着て歩きました。若い女性たちがついて来れないように、臭いがする服を着て歩きました。横に行けば避けて逃げる、そういう服を着て歩きました。

統一教会の男なら大ざっぱでなければなりません。靴下に穴が開いていても堂々としていることができなければなりません。大きい山には、生えている樹木が多く、五色の鳥や動物たちが巣くうのと同じように、皆さんもすべてのものが宿ることができる、そのような何かをもたなければなりません。

そうすれば自分の全体の姿勢を備えて、それが一つの美として現れるようになるのです。服を立派に着たからといって美しいのではなく、立派に装ったからといって美しいのではありません。天地に評判になり、関心の的になり、全部がうらやましがることのできる自分にならなければなりません。（一四―二九）

4) You Must Have the Ability to Embrace People - 1

Although you look gaunt and miserable, wearing worn out clothes, you will still appear beautiful as long as you are equipped with everything and possess the three-dimensionality inside and out.  

The beauty attained at that point is the highest beauty that cannot be exchanged even with the whole universe. Even for me this is how it looks, so how much more true is this in the eyes of God? 

If you possess these qualities, then you will find that all things in the universe come inside of you. When you look at your eyes, all the sorrows of the heaven and earth are encapsulated in those eyes, when you look at the hands, feet, or anywhere else, they represent the heaven and earth. It is my will to make these great works out of you. 

When I was young, I wore cheap clothes bought in second hand clothing shops; these were clothes that others have worn and have thrown away. I intentionally wore smelly clothes so that ladies would not follow me around.

I wore clothes that smelled so bad that when people came near me, they would run away from me. Unification Church men must be free and at ease. You must behave in a dignified way, even if you are wearing socks with holes in them.

Just as how there are many trees and all kinds of animals and birds in big mountains, you have to possess the character that will attract all things to you. Only then can you find your complete image and manifest it as a type of beauty.

You cannot be considered beautiful just because you are wearing good clothes and have made yourself up well. You have to become the subject of envy by standing out as the topic of discussion and focus attention for heaven and earth. (14-29)
