The Word in the Beginning, God, and Faith
A true believer is anyone who believes in God and His Word. Because the Word was with God [from] the beginning, it was said that this Word is God (Jn 1:1). God, that is, the Word, created the heavens and the earth and all creation, and there is nothing that was not created through this Word.
In the Law of Moses as well, the first commandment was to love God (to not serve other gods except God) (Dt 5), and Jesus’ first commandment was also to love God (Mt 22:34-40). It was determined a sin to believe in other gods and other doctrines except God [and His doctrine]. This is the law and the scripture of law.
In Jn 17:3, it was said that “Eternal life is to know the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” Why was it said that knowing the true God and Jesus Christ, whom God has sent, is eternal life? [God] was referred to as the true God because a false god, that is, the fake god exists (Ez 28).
As mentioned above, because the Word in the beginning was with God and Jesus, this Word was God and Jesus (Jn 1:1-4, 1Jn 1:1-2). The Word must be in true believers, and believers must be in God and Jesus. According to the words in Jn 17, Jesus is in God, believers are in Jesus, Jesus is in believers, God is in Jesus, and thus, they become one.
Wherever God is, there is the Word, and wherever the Word is, there is God. A person who does not have God’s Word is a person who does not have God in him. A person who does not have God is not a person [who belongs to] God.
If the Word in the beginning is God, and God is the Word in the beginning, then a person who has the word and a person who doesn’t are different. What is different? A person who does not have the word has no life. He does not have God or Jesus. We must first have the Word in us, and wherever the Word is, there will be God, Jesus, and eternal life.
Also, it was said in Jn 17:17 that one becomes sanctified (holy) through God’s Word (truth). The water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and Jesus is the Word in the beginning. With this Word, sin is cleansed. As the sin is cleansed, one becomes holy (Jn 17:17).
In seminaries, churches, and pastors where there is no word of life, [their] saints also do not have the Word. In places where there is no word of life, there is no God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. In the place where God is, there is the Word. The pastors and saints from the place where there is no God or the Word calling the place where the Word exists a heretic is a lie and proof that the spirit of the devil is with them. Those who hear this fact but still believe in the words of pastors who do not have the Word are those with whom the same kind of spirit (devil) is with.
Those who do not even have the Word or God but claim to be orthodoxy are those who are like the guardian cherub in Ez 28 who proclaims himself to be God. That is why one must first check oneself with the Bible. If one truly believes his denomination is the orthodoxy that is acknowledged by Jesus, he must confirm it through the Bible. If he is someone who knows the meaning of the Bible and has heard that Shincheonji has come and is harvesting, then he would [come] running with his shoes off.
