Collaborate with account and key stakeholders to develop and manage the MPT door level financial plan across categories, gender, and product units.
Build seasonal style-level assortment financial and illustrative plans that tie to the business plans and targets. Conduct period analysis, including but not limited to style-level sell through to inform and influence current and future seasons.
Pre-season · Develop the door level plan for an assigned MPT door including retail sales, receipts, inventory, margin, and turn against categories, gender, and product units. · Ensure wholesale plans are aligned to the retail plan & metrics · Drive Collaboration and include input from key stakeholders including the Account, Sales, Planning, Category, and Merchandising to gain agreement on financial plans and product flow strategies. · Build/refine a style-level plan based on retail strategies and opportunities; ensure plan reconciles with topline financial plan.
In-season · Identify potential opportunities and / or risks in the business against inventory plans; develop actionable recommendations for execution. · Weekly performance review of key items and stories for the season. · Mid-season hind sighting of key items and assortment performance.
Post-season · Develop topline and assortment level review of business vs. plan and LY - sales, margin, inventory, and turn. · Share review, insights and recommendations with account, account team and cross functional partners. · Review MPT door performance |
Requirements |
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Fashion, Marketing or a related field · Strong financial planning skills and utilizing POS data analysis · Excellence in inter-personal communication · Good English communication skill both verbal and written. · Ability to partner and influence in a matrix environment with multiple business functions · Strong team player and ability to work with the cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business · Comprehensive understanding of retail math · Ability to create weekly/ monthly reports, style-level sales plans, track promotional events and pre-meeting prep · Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market preferred · Ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business. · Advanced knowledge of MS office applications; proficiency in Excel including creating spreadsheets, complex formulas, pivot tables, etc. |
