6boomer9 My wife always needles me about the Asian shows I like to watch. The other day she brought her dinner into the living room while I was watching Slave Hunters.  She sat through 4 episodes (she absolutely HATES reading subtitles)!! That just proves how good this show really is!  

내 아내는 내가 아시아 쇼를 보고 싶어하면 언제나 옆꾸리를 찌르거든. 어느 날 내가 추노를 보고 있을 때 아내는 거실로 저녁을 먹겠다고 갖고 왔어. (그 상태로) 그녀는 앉아서 내리 4 편을 때리는 거야 (그녀는 자막 읽는 걸 완전 싫어하거든)!! 그게 바로 이 드라마가 얼마나 좋은지 증명하는 거지.

msddm101 Only because of love, everything turned upside down. a very tragic drama. I hope jang hyuk in the near future can act in a movie which has a happy ending.  He gained the prize as a best actor for Seoul Drama awards 2010, he fully deserved it.

flymistaslick  Damn... This series left a deep hole in my heart. Mainly because it‘s over and this song that just justifies the whole story is perfect especially when thinking about this story.

젠장... 이 시리즈는 내 심장에 깊은 구멍을 뚫어놨어... 주로 일단 그것이 끝났기 때문이고 전체 이야기를 정확히 정의해버리는 이 노래는 너무 완벽해 특히 스토리를 생각할 때 말이지.

spoilter I felt the musics of Slave Hunters were from Hans Zimmer or Ennio Morricone. Because I have a sense of perfect pitch. It can't be an ordinary drama. I came here to watch but my ears say "Listen to the musics and songs." 난 추노의 음악들이 한스 지머나 엔니오 모리코네에게서 나온 것으로 느껴져. 왜냐면 난 절대 음감을 갖고 있으니까. 절대 평범한 드라마가 아냐. 난 여기 드라마를 보려고 왔지만 내 귀들이 말하잖아 “음악과 노래를 들어.”라고

 spoiler Hans Zimmer composed OST for the movie "Thelma and Louise" and "Pirate of Caribbean" and "Gladiator" and Ennio Moricone is even more famous. Just search for him. He is the father of OST. 

한스 지머는 영화 델마와 루이즈와 캐러비언의 해적과 글래디에이터의 ost를 작곡했어. 그리고 엔니오 모리코네는 훨씬 더 유명하지. 검색해보라고. 그는 ost의 아버지야.

monomae I love this drama. The musics were amazing all the way through the drama. I thought it was Hans Zimmer's. Does anyone know if this show won any awards? spoiler Don't ever ignore the writer and a music composer, they are hidden but very important to make the drama perfect. And the director liason all like writer or music composer. And the director who casts actors, writers, and music composers.  작가와 작곡가를 절대 무시하지 마. 그들은 숨어 있지만 드라마를 완벽하게 하는 데 아주 중요해. 그리고 감독은 그 모든 걸 총괄한단다. 작곡가와 작가 섭외 등등...

Naklappon I just like this drama so much. and I think I became the slave who is saved by Janghyuk.  난 그냥 이 드라마가 너무 좋아,. 그리고 난 장혁에게 구출된 그 노예가 된 기분이야.

lexeiBetrayed but this drama is amazing, I recommend it to all of you drama fans! The cast was great,Lee Da Hae, Jang Hyuk and Ji Ho. absolutely perfect!  

하지만 이 드라마는 놀라워, 내가 추천할게 너희 모든 드라마 팬들에게! 배역도 대단했고 이다혜, 장혁, 오지호는 절대적으로 완벽했어.

spoiler I just found out that actors were not all. Writer, PD, Actors are not only one of them making Chuno famous. People ignored about the music composers. They were as good as Ennio Moricone's or Hans Zimmer. OSTs were fabulous.  그냥 배우가 전부가 아니라는 걸 깨달았어. 작가와 PD와, 배우들이 추노가 유명해지게 만든 전부가 아니라는 것을. 사람들은 작곡가를 간과했단다. 그것들은 엔니오 모리코네의 것처럼 좋았어. 음악들이 환상적이었어.

erowriter All actors act like they are good at martial arts but they are fake except Janghyuk and Oh Jiho. I saw Oh Jiho winning Kang Hodong Korean wrestling Sirum and heard Janghyuk is good at jeet kune do.   모든 배우들이 자기가 무술을 잘 한다는 듯이 연기하지만 그들은 장혁과 오지호를 빼면 모두 가짜야. 난 오지호가 한국 씨름 선수인 강호동을 이기는 걸 봤고 장혁이 절권도를 잘 한다고 들었어.

Euxion I'm a guy and I cried so much at this drama's ending listening to this song. It just makes me think back about Dae Gil's sad fate. One of the best Korean drama's, if not the best, I've ever watched since nearly almost episode created an immense amount of suspense. 난 남자인데 진짜 많이 울었다 이 드라마 엔딩에서 말이지 이 음악을 들으면서... 그건 내가 대길의 슬픈 운명을 생각하게 만들었어. 최고의 한국 드라마의 하나야. 최고가 아니라면 내가 가장 지대한 양의 긴장감을 느끼면서 봤던 거라도 해두지.

spoiler Jang Hyuk became quite smart and matured acting in "Deep rooted tree". He looks much more smarter than he was in Slave Hunter. He has aura that is as bright as 100 fluorescent lights surround him especially when he acts.  장혁은 추노에서 연기할 때보다 훨씬 뿌리 깊은 나무에서 연기할 때 더 스마트해지고 성숙해졌어. 그는 연기할 때 자기 주변에 형광등 100개만큼 밝은 것 같은 아우라가 있어.

전투씬은 완전 서사시야. (그래, 추노를 전투씬으로 시작해서 설명한다는 게 좀 엿같다는 걸 알지만)

lanaland The OST rocks top to bottom. I love how flawed and manly Dae Gil is. 

OST가 처음부터 끝까지 두드리지. 난 그렇게도 결점이 많고 남자다운 이대길을 사랑해

lanaland Having noted these few things, I'd like to focus on the criticism that the drama is attracting. 

이런 몇 가지를 주의하면서, 난  드라마가 매력적이라는 것에 대한 비평에 집중할랜다. 

lanaland Lee Da Hae - Oh, come on you can't possibly criticize her for being too pretty, right???.  I agree she was a little too white compared to the rest of the cast (with dirty and sun-burnt faces)  

이 다해 : 오, 그러지 마. 그녀가 너무 이쁘다는 것을 비평하면 안 돼. 맞지? 나도 인정해 그녀가 다른 배역들(더럽고 태양에 그을린 얼굴들)에 비해 약간 너무 하얗다는 것.

lanaland but it's hardly her fault and besides I think it helps to understand why Tae Ha fell for her so easily. Overall : Reality is that all the drama lacks in - too beautiful leading lady???. but, you know, pretty girls usually have natural sun blocking system in their skin.  

하지만 그건 그녀의 잘못이 아닐뿐더러 그것이 송태하와 그렇게 빨리 사랑에 빠지게 한 이유를 알게 해주는 거야. 전체적으로 : 진실은 그래 모든 드라마가 부족하다는 것 - 너무 아름다운 여주인공이 있다는 것???, 하지만 너도 알다시피, 예쁜 여자들은 보통 피부에 천연 자외선 차단 시스템이 있단다.

Is it just me or did anyone else feel they rushed everything at the end? Also there were so many things that were left out. For instance, the tavern girl found out where General Choi is and...? The bandit camp was ready to leave but...? The ending didn't say anything about he slave who shot the nobles.
