謀權(모권)은 남의 권리를 모략으로 빼앗는 것이다.

   Mo-gwon means using schemes and plots strip others of their rightful privileges.

남에게 부여된 당연한 권리를 구차스럽게 모략을 사용하여
빼앗으려 한다면 마치 돌 위에 심은싹이 뿌리를 내릴 수 없는 것과 같은 것이다.

  Despicably using underhanded plots to steal rights that naturally belong to others

  is just like expecting a sprout planted an top of a stone to take root.

비록 이루어진다 하더라도 산골짜기에서 사는 사람이
수레를 타고 말을 몰듯 배를 몰려는 것이며 섬사람이 말을 모는 것과 같다.

 Even if such a scheme succeeds, it would be as absurd as a mountain dweller trying

 to steer a boat the way they drive a horse and carriage, or an islander trying to herd horses.

謀權者는 謀奪人之權也라 (모권자는 모탈인지권야라)

  One who schemes for power(or rights) is someone who plots to usurp the rights of others.

人之應權이면 苟欲謀奪이면 (인지응권이면 구욕모탈이면)

  If someone possesses a right they rightfully deserve,

   andanother despicably desires to plot and steal it,

石上種苗가 不可托根이라 (석상종묘가 불가탁근이라)

  It is like planting a seedling on top of a stone;

   it can never truly take root.

雖成이라도 峽人駕舟오 島人御馬니라. (수성이라도 협인가주오 도인어마니라.)

  Even if it is somehow accomplished, it is like a canyou dweller trying to steer a boat,

  or an islander trying to break in a horse.

    ● 구차스럽게 : 문맥상 부끄럽고 구차한 태도를 뜻하므로 "despicably" 또는 "meanly"로

                           해석하여 의미를 살렸습니다.
