더불어민주당 하정우 부산 북갑 보궐선거 후보가 10일 선거 사무소 개소식을 열었다. 청와대 AI미래기획수석 출신인 하 후보는 이날 개소식에서 “북구의 아들 하정우가 북구의 미래를 위해 AI(인공지능) 전문성을 모두 쏟아붓겠다”며 ‘일하는 후보’ 이미지를 강조했다.

하 후보는 “AI 시대에는 먼저 방향을 잡고 빠르게 실행하는 도시가 앞서가게 된다”면서 “북구가 바로 그런 도시가 될 수 있다고 믿는다”고 했다. 이어 북구에서 3선을 한 전재수 민주당 부산시장 후보를 언급하며 “하정우가 재수 행님(형님)이 시작한 일을 단디 마무리하고 거기에 미래 산업과 AI 실력을 더하겠다”고 했다.

개소식에 참석한 전재수 후보도 “전재수의 ‘해양수도의 꿈’과 하정우의 ‘AI 3대 강국의 꿈’이 합쳐지면 부산에는 천지개벽할 변화가 생길 것”이라고 했다. 개소식에선 전 후보가 하 후보에게 ‘북구의 미래’가 적힌 바통을 넘겨주는 퍼포먼스도 했다.
