0311 Reveal the Fake | 1 Timothy 4:1–3 | Pastor Jim Cymbala

Join Pastor Jim Cymbala for today’s daily devotional from 1 Timothy 4:1–3. 

In this devotional, Pastor Cymbala encourages [us] [to watch out for rules and teachings /that go against the Bible].

For example, [being unmarried or avoiding certain foods] doesn’t make [someone] [more or less of a Christian]!

We are not /under the Old Testament law

—we are called [to follow the Word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit].

Let’s ask [the Lord] [to reveal what is fake /so that we can avoid it]! 

* 일반동사 5 형식 encourages [us] [to watch out for rules and teachings /that go~]. 목적이 목적하게 동사하다

* 목보인 부정사구 to watch out for [rules and teachings /that go against the Bible]. 

* 타동사구 watch out for; to be vigilant, cautious, or on guard against potential danger, hazards, or unpleasant surprises.

* 목적인 명사구 rules and teachings /that go against the Bible], 명&명+형절/주격 관대절

* 숙어 go against: 1. to not agree with (something) 2. to oppose or resist (someone or something)

* 주어인 동명사구 [being unmarried or avoiding certain foods],  * being/be의 보어인 형역 과분사구 unmarried 

* 준동사인 동명사는 자체의 술부를 구비하여 구 전체가 하나의 명사처럼 역할함; 미혼되기, 특정음식 피하기

  동명사구를 문장으로 재구성하려면 주어+정형동사로 쓰면 He is unmarried, He avoids certain foods.으로 되므로

  독립문에서 주어 빼고 동사를 v-ing형으로 고쳐 명사역할로 쓰면 동명사구, 형용사 역할로 쓰면 형역 현분사구가 되며

  to+원형동사로 하면 부정사구 특성으로 명/형/부 역할을 함 to be unmarried, to avoid certain foods

* 사역동사 5 형식 make [someone] [more or less of a Christian]  목적이 목보되게 (목보인 형용사구 상태) 동사/강제하다 

* 일반동사 5 형식  ask [the Lord] [to reveal what is fake /so that we can avoid it] 주님의 자유의지로 드러내심

* 주의, 사역동사와 일반동사의 5 형식은 목보가 사역의미인 원형 부정사와 자유의지적 동작인 to-부정사의 차이만 있음
