Summer is a season when the hem of woman's skirt is going up while the eyes of the man are going down.
Every TV channel, days and nights, is filled with zaftig girls who barely cover their bodies with the scantily and skimpily clothes.
They try to show their hot bodies off every chance they get.
Moreover, TV elevates them to a near standard of the beauty and forces us to follow them.
Barbie doll is a model of what every woman ought to be.
So, a young chubby girl is learned to think this:
If I'd be as thin as I want to be EVERYTHING WOULD BE SOLVED.
I would have no troubles; every guy would like me.
IS THAT TRUE? If she's only gonna eat stuff that don't contain any fat, will she be happy now?
I'm a 23 year-old ordinary college girl.
But I don't, no, I can't put on bikini; it's too loud, I think.
Yeah, somebody may say that I'd better fly to Afghanistan right away and wear the burqah, which shields full body, complete with its tightly-woven grill.
Am I too hidebound?
Big eyes, great nose, huge lips, fragile arms and legs..
Are these normal? Or are these really beautiful?
What qualities will she fall back on when her indubitable charm and good looks begin wear thin?
Though she is not really pretty, her sparkling personality makes her very attractive.
Accept yourself for what you are, notice your natural charm, and like the way you are.
Don't force yourself to distort your original looks and keep copying the stereotype.
Love and cough cannot be hid. Neither can your own charm.
It's like the perfume from the flowers.
We're not getting older day by day. We're growing day after day, making ourselves wholly.
첫댓글I believe that we have a bright future before us because we have the very youth like you. Yeah, I hate the stereotyped vogue. Your pointing out is totally right. Talk to later.
The problem is variety. There is none in the world of beauty. I don't mind the thin, beautiful, woman as long as they also have the regular(90% of us) type of women in the media. It's unbalanced. Don't get rid of one to satisfy another. It'll just create a whole new prolem.
A fish is usually said to be awfully forgetful. Yeah, it's me. I always have a feeling that I'm forgetting something, but I don't know exactly what. So my close frenz call me 'Miss. Fish'. And about six months ago I bleached my hair and made it blond. Since then, I've been called 'blondefish'.
I totally agree with you. You remind me one of the popular songs. I can't remember the title. I've seen music video through MTV. It shows people with different look. (i.e. big, short, skinny, homosextual..). The theme is that everyone's beautiful the way he(she) is no matter what.

I am just curious. Why, then, is the fish blonde? Was it a dye job?

oh, my nickname here is blondefish, too. but it has no particular mean. anyway.. nice to meet you, Miss. blonde fish.
Whoever has an advantage at least. Nonetheless, people tend to make up for just appearance.

Everyone's beautiful. God made you and me. He made us in his own image. Therefore, we are beautiful the way we are.
