The Avatamsaka Sutra, The Ten Abodes (십주품 8-5)

[眞如華]

     8-5.

     或見神足      或聞記莂      或聽敎誡      或見衆生      受諸劇苦      或聞如來      廣大佛法      發菩提心      求一切智

     혹은 신통을 보며, 혹은 수기함을 들으며, 혹은 가르침을 들으며, 혹은 중생들이 온갖 고통 받는 것을 보며, 혹은 여래의 넓고 큰 불법을 듣고 보리심을 내어서 온갖 지혜를 구하느니라.

or seeing their spiritual powers, or hearing predictions of enlightenment, or listening to their teachings and instructions, or seeing sentient beings suffering severe pains, or hearing the far-reaching teaching of enlightenment of the Buddhas, develop the determination for enlightenment, to seek omniscience.
