제자는 예수님을 따르는 사람이고 예수님처럼 사는 사람입니다. 예수께 삶의 근거를 두고 예수가 삶의 목표이고 이유인 사람입니다. 예수께서 떠나셨을 때 그의 분신으로서 예수님의 역할을 수행하는 사람입니다. 매 순간 그를 시인하고 그를 현상하는 존재입니다. 공주야! 실수하니까 사람이다! 맞다. 누구나 인정한다. 그럼에도 실수나 실패의 순간은 유쾌하지 않다. 결과의 무게가 중 할수록 마음의 무게 또한 그렇다. 중요한 것은 그 다음 과정이다. 어떻게 일어나고 어떻게 삶의 걸음을 계속 내딛을 수 있을까?

A disciple is a person who follows Jesus and lives like him. He is a person who is the goal and reason of life based on Jesus. He is the one who plays the role of Jesus as his alter ego when he leaves. He is the one who admits to him every moment and develops him. Princess! You make mistakes, you are a person! That's right. Everyone admits it. Nevertheless, moments of mistakes or failures are not pleasant. The more weight the result is, the more so is the weight of the mind. What matters is the next process. How do you get up and how do you keep taking steps in life?

주님의 말씀보다 자신을 더 과신하고 깨어 기도하지 않았던 베드로는, 어디든지 주와 함께 가겠다고 장담하더니 예수님을 ‘멀찍이’따라가며 거리를 두었고, 결국 자기 목숨을 부지하려고 예수님을 부인했다. 그는 강한 예수를 원했을 뿐 능욕당하고 수치를 당하는 예수를 원치 않았다. 그가 원하던 예수는 십자가의 예수가 아니었다. 하지만 참 믿음은 저 십자가의 예수를 믿고 그 십자가를 지고 가는 일이다. 말씀을 무시하고 기도를 멀리할 때 우리도 언제든 예수님을 부인하는 자리로 떨어질 수 있다.

Peter, who was more overconfident than the Lord's words and did not pray, guaranteed to go anywhere with the Lord, followed Jesus "far away" and distanced himself, eventually denying him to save his life. He only wanted a strong Jesus, not one who was humiliated and humiliated. The Jesus he wanted was not Jesus of the cross. But true faith is to believe in Jesus on that cross and carry the cross. When we ignore the word and stay away from prayer, we can always fall to the position of denying Jesus.

주님과 나의 영적인 거리는 얼마나 되는가? 예수님은 군사들에게 심한 희롱과 능욕을 당하신다. 채찍보다 더 고통스러웠겠지만 ‘대속의 길’이기에 저항하지 않고 수용하셨다. 베드로는 부인했지만 공회의 심문에서 자신이 하나님 우편에 앉을 '인자'(단7;13)이며 ‘하나님의 아들’임을 시인하셨다. 인간적인 영광을 얻을 수 있는 자리에서는 귀신이 하나님의 아들로 인정하는 것을 꾸짖어 못하게 하시더니, 수난이 기다리는 자리에서는 시인하고 계신다.

What is the spiritual distance between the Lord and me? Jesus is severely harassed and humiliated by the soldiers. It would have been more painful than the whip, but he accepted it without resistance because it was the 'road of submission'. Peter denied it, but in the interrogation of the conference, he admitted that he was the 'in command' (only 7; 13) and the 'son of God' to sit in the mail of God. In a place where human glory can be achieved, the ghost rebuked him from recognizing him as the son of God, but in the place where suffering awaits him, he admits it.

특히 하나님께 통치권과 심판의 권세를 받을 ‘인자'(21:27)’임을 강조하심으로써 지금은 초라한 죄인의 모습으로 심문을 받고 계시지만 그때에는(이제 후로는) 심문하고 있는 종교지도자들이 예수님께 심판받게 될 것임을 완곡히 말씀하신다. 거짓과 불의가 진리와 정의를 짓밟고 어둠의 권세가 모든 것을 잡은 듯 보이지만, 주께서 이 모든 것을 신원하시고 심판하실 것이다. 닭 울음소리가 들리자 예수님은 자신을 외면하며 부인하던 베드로를 보셨다. 하지만 정죄가 아닌 용서, 경멸이 아닌 긍휼의 시선이었다.

False and injustice seem to crush truth and justice, and dark power seems to have seized everything, but the Lord will identify and judge all this. When I heard a rooster cry, Jesus saw Peter, who was denying him, turning a blind eye. However, it was not a sin, but a look of forgiveness and contempt, but a look of pride.

그를 위한 오랜 기도(32)와 그를 향한 자비로운 시선, 그리고 변함없는 말씀이 베드로를 회개와 회복으로 이끈 것이다. 혹시 실수와 실패, 회의와 불신, 낙담과 절망의 자리에 있는가? 혹독한 비난과 가혹한 자책에서 눈을 돌려 자비로우신 주님을 바라보자. 그것이 회복의 시작이 될 것이다. 끝까지 예수를 시인하는 삶으로 이끄는 것은 무엇인가?

Are you in a place of mistakes and failure, skepticism and distrust, discouragement and despair? Let us turn our eyes from harsh criticism and harsh self criticism and look at the merciful Lord. 종교지도자들과 나에 의해 재판에 회부되신 가엷으신 주님, 하지만 당신의 수모와 고난은 권능의 우편에 앉기 전 반드시 지어야할 고난 이었기에 묵묵히 그 일을 진행하셨던 내 주 그리스도를 찬양합니다. 스스로의 신분을 감추지 않으시고 당당히 죽음을 향해 자신의 길을 가셨사오니 나도 그 길을 가게 하시고 위임될 왕권을 수여받는 당당한 제자가 되게 하옵소서. 내가 말할지라도 너희가 믿지 않을 것이요. 내가 물어도 너희가 대답치 않을 것이라고 대적하는 무리들을 향해 말씀하셨던 주님, 내가 주 음성을 들을 수 있게 하시고 믿게 하시며, 그리고 대답하게 하옵소서.

You have been put on trial by the religious leaders and by me, Lord. But your humiliation and suffering were the hardships that must be built before you sit in the mail of power, so I praise the Lord Christ, who has done it silently. He has gone his way to death without concealing his own identity, so let me go that way and be a confident disciple who is given the royal authority to be delegated. Even if I say it, you won't believe it. O LORD, you have spoken to the crowds who are against you, that you will not answer my question. Let me hear the voice of the LORD, let me believe, and let me answer.
