Have You Kept the Appointed Task with Which
God Entrusted You?
Adam and Eve not believing in and keeping the word of God was a sin. Through this event, death entered the world of mankind and reigned (as king). The price for not believing in and keeping the word or the appointed task that God gave is extremely great. It is eternal punishment.
At this time, today, in which one era passes and another era comes, what would happen if an appointed worker of Shincheonji does not keep his appointed task? After Adam’s world received judgement because of sin, Noah’s world was also destroyed because of the sin of Noah’s son Ham. Afterwards, the people of Israel, who conquered the land of Canaan, sinned again at the time of King Solomon (1Kgs 11), and in the end, they suffered destruction by the Gentiles. Therefore, Jesus came through the first coming, and the work of the second coming has unfolded today.
To all the appointed workers of this time, what kind of people must we become? Must we commit sin again, like in days of the past? How would someone who could not even protect themselves protect the kingdom and the people? How do all of you think of your appointed tasks? Out of Adam’s sin, Ham’s sin, and your sin for not being able to keep your appointed tasks, which one is the greatest? Any and all appointed workers will know all of the sins of the appointed workers from the past, and they will know that those sins were extremely great.
The very first word that someone who sinned speaks is a lie. Even though they did wrong, they say that they hadn’t.
Jesus, as well as the prophets and apostles, made known many things for us today. The first, the second, and even the third [most important] is to be obedient and humble, and become the light. We must always see ourselves in the Bible. Even if we know, we must do things by first asking. We should have been gentle, composed (calm), and humble. We should have been the light of the truth and shined it upon all the saints. Just like the King of Tyre, just knowing isn’t everything. We must be led by the word we know and keep our appointed task, just as [it is written] in Rv 1:1-3. Moreover, we must overcome with the truth. How? Just as [it is written] in 1Cor 15:51-58. Amen.
