Our part is [to heed His guidance by staying away from anything //that harms our reputations and testimonies].

Some people and organizations can claim [to be Christian] but really oppose [the words of Jesus].

Let’s ask the Lord to keep us clean, pure, and alert today.

* 5 형식 make and keep [us] [pure—clean from the corruption of this world]. 목적이 목보되게 동사하다

* 보어인 부정사구 to heed His guidance by staying away from anything //that harms our reputations and testimonies

* 주의 ; 숙어인 'be to~ 하기로 되어있다'와 be+보어/부정사구의 구별방법

1. 숙어 'be to~'인 경우 주어가 to 부정사의 동작을 하는 동작자 I am to heed [His guidance]. (주어가 heed의 동작을 함)

    우리는 그분의 인도를 청종하기로 되어있다 즉 우리가 청종함
