=====================================
(It's almost sunset and Roberta and Kent are walking their dogs on the beach … )
Roberta: What new things do you want to do in this new year?
Kent: Well, I would like to take up the piano.
Roberta: Really? That's great. I'd love to see you do that.
Kent: And you? What do you want to do or change?
Roberta: Well, besides lose some weight I'd love to change jobs.
Kent: Go on.
Roberta: I know. I can take on more challenges.
Kent: Do you want to work closer to home?
Roberta: Yes, definitely. I'm tired of long bus and train rides.
Kent: Well, put your mind to it and it will happen.
"It is not difficult to take up a new career in midlife."
▶ go on: 이야기를 계속 해봐.
“Go on. Tell me more about your plans for decorating the house.”
▶ put your mind to it:
“If you put your mind to it you can achieve almost anything.”
