0429 No One Knows When | 1 Timothy 6:14–16 | Pastor Jim Cymbala

Join [Pastor Jim Cymbala] for today’s daily devotional from 1 Timothy 6:14–16.

Nobody knows [when Jesus will come back].

[Trying to predict when He will rapture His church] doesn’t do [us] [any good]!

Instead we should use [our efforts] /to spread the gospel to others and see the church grow.

Let’s tell someone /about Jesus today and pray, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20).

* 부정어/부정 대명사 nobody로 된 부정문 ; 우리말에는 없는 어법이기에 동사부정으로 의역함 ; 아무도 모른다

* knows의 목적인 의문사절 [when Jesus will come back] ; 명사역할로 쓰였기에 의문사절로 분류함

* 주어인 동명사구 Trying [to predict when He will rapture His church]

* Trying의 목적인 부정사구 to predict when He will rapture His church
