People who move out of their villages or countries are happier and more successful that people who live in their villages for their entire life. Do you agree with the statement? Use specific reasons and details in your essay.

           For the past a few decades, it has been generally argued about whether or not it makes people more happier and successful when they move out of their villages and countries or staying in their villages for their entire life. Some people might insist that staying in one area for the whole life make people happy and successful; nevertheless, others think that going out of a certain area and experiencing other things makes a more successful and happy life. However, I am convinced that moving out of people’s villages or countries is happier and successful than the just staying in the villages for their entire life. Actually, I have a couple of reasons that supports my idea which I will write and develop as specifically as I can in the next following paragraphs.

           To begin with, traveling to other areas broadens people’s view of seeing the world.

For a fast changing and information based society like today, it is essential for us to have a lot of knowledge and experience which is literally not possible when we just stay in one place for the rest of our life. Some people might cast doubt on my opinion because they think that human technology enables people to get easy access to the World Wide Web which provides enormous amount of information for them. Yet, it is not a hard thing to figure out that just knowing is quite useless unless there is proper experience to use the information efficiently. To gibe one of my personal experiences as an example, I was working for a company that is involved in stationery making. I belonged to the foreign marketing services. I worked hard to achieve certain amount of success but things were getting harder and harder each day because foreign countries’ unfamiliar culture and living habits kept on conflicting with my ideas and point of view. I was accustomed to an isolated village in an isolated country which caused my mind and sight isolated as well. I could not accept other cultures, point of view or anything which was different from my aspects. At the end, I eventually got fired from the company because they concluded that my working efficiency will not improve at all. If I had many experience and knowledge, I would have been a great worker and might even have given the company a lot of profit.

To continue with, experiencing the outside world is essential for us living in a busy society. When we go out in the society, we face many conflicts with other people because of the differences that comes from the region that each of us grew from, the age and ideas. With many experiences of the world or even to overseas can broaden our point of views and understanding of other people which could eventually increase us to appreciate other people’s behavior as well as their ideas. To give one of my second handed experiences, I have a friend who studied overseas. He is the most considerable, imaginative and creative man I have ever seen. He always talks about his experience in other countries and their cultures. He also adds that it was hard for him to get used to their tradition and culture but after all, it eventually became part of his life. He said that he is now unaware of cultural barriers and is no longer afraid of new things. This characteristic makes him a happy, successful man that he is now. Without the experience from other countries, he would not be a special and unique man but an ordinary one. According to a survey conducted by KSC, Korean Statistical Center of South Korea, on 3000 students about their preference between staying in one place for their whole life or going out of their areas to other places. Surprisingly, 85% of the students answered that they preferred and was most willing to go out of their current areas even to overseas. They also added that getting out of the isolation that they experience now will allow their view of the world as well as many unique and useful knowledge.

As a conclusion, I am sure that by experiencing and observing other parts of the world but the world that we live in now, will make our life a happy and exciting one by expanding our comprehension of the globe which enables us to increase not only working efficiency but also people’s view.
