With the expectation that the largest marijuana market in the world has been opened, there is a concern that it will have a serious impact on local society. California is also the state where Koreans live the most. It is observed that marijuana will be incorporated into Korean society through this change. Marijuana is a drug obtained from leaves and flowers of hemp. People think that Marijuana is relatively better than other drugs that are more harmful to the body. Marijuana is called a gateway drug because it is easy to access and it is the starting point for passing on to other drugs. Did you get interested in this stimulating topic? The term drug is derived from the Greek word ‘narkotikos’, which means anesthesia and it, refers to a substance that alleviates pain by sleep and confusion. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) report, 1. The desire for drug use is very strong (dependency). 2. The amount of drug use tends to increase (tolerance). 3. When you stop using it, symptoms that you cannot tolerate appear (withdrawal symptoms). 4. It harms not only individuals but also the society as well. Recently, there has been a growing interest in drugs due to news that entertainers and politicians have used drugs. You need to know what kind of drugs there are and how dangerous they are. That way people will not even be curious about it.

There are three types of drugs. Stimulants (up), Inhibitors (down), Hallucinogens (psychedelic). When given in small doses, Stimulants are drugs that clarify mental state and make people feel elevated and make their heart beats fast. Overdosage can cause hallucinations and a sense of security, or nerves become more sensitive, resulting in antisocial and violent behaviors. The corresponding drugs are Caffeine, Nicotine, Methamphetamine, Ecstasy and Cocaine. Inhibitors slow down the function of delivering messages to the brain. Drugs belonging to the inhibitors are Heroin, Morphine, Barium, Cannabis and Alcohol. It mainly provides pain relief and inhibits the central nervous system, but a large amount of inhibitors can cause loss of consciousness, vomiting and respiratory arrest. Hallucinogens distort vision, tactile sense, and hearing, thereby affects the perception process. Unlike the two drugs above, this is a drug that affects the brain. After using, some people feel comfortable, while some feel uncomfortable and depressed. Drugs belonging to hallucinogens are LSD, Cannabis, and Ecstasy.

Alcohol and Nicotine are dangerous, but are not strictly drugs. They are legitimate drugs, but let's find out about them because they have similarities with drugs. First, Alcohol and Nicotine are addictive. Ethanol, which accounts for most of Alcohol, can cause addiction and Nicotine is as addictive as Cocaine, a hard drug. When an addict is not able to drink and smoke, withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, violent behavior, and hand trembling occurs. Alcohol and cigarette not only ruins the functions of their liver and lungs, but also can damage others by loss of judgment. Nevertheless, they are legitimate all over the world because they are low in addiction and does not directly cause harm to others. Also, unlike drugs, they do not go well enough to ruin a person's life.

Marijuana is an illegal drug. Marijuana is often called Weed, Mary Ann Jane. A small amount of Marijuana is an inhibitor. The main ingredient of Marijuana is tetrahydrocannabinol, which maximizes all the senses of humans. Hearing, tasting, tactile, and vision. When used, it does not make people seem to be drunk because it does not cause hallucinations or stimulating effects. However, nausea, coughing, respiratory problems, short-term memory problems, increased heart rate, irritability, tension, and other diverse symptoms appear when used. Weed contains a lot of harmful substances such as tobacco, and tar is twice as much. There are negative effects such as panic attacks and serious withdrawal symptoms in high-dose or sensitive users. Many people are interested in the study, which shows that they are less addictive than cigarettes and do not cause much harm to the body. However, the dependence of marijuana caused by the pleasant feelings is very serious. Therefore, those who cannot forget their feelings after taking the drug will find stronger weed. In fact, as soon as it was legalized in the US, sales of 50 times stronger liquid marijuana was skyrocketing. 

In addition, drugs such as Cocaine, Heroin, LSD, and Methamphetamine are all addictive. Withdrawal symptoms of these are especially serious, as compared to others. Addicts suffer from withdrawal symptoms can act unexpectedly. Addicts do not have the ability to work and are exposed to crime. Most of the time they commit a crime to raise money to buy drugs. Extreme pleasure and hallucination due to drugs lead to shocking things. In Korea, pregnant women with methamphetamine addiction have had group sex. In US, a Zombie Drug user had torn the face of a homeless man. When you start being addicted to drugs, the dopamine receptor itself is damaged. Eventually, the damage becomes worse. For addicts, drugs are used to feel the normal level of happiness, and if they do not use drugs, they will suffer constant pain. All beautiful emotions and memories of happiness with family, friends, and lovers in the past disappear. At the end, they give up rational life and live only with the physical senses like animals.

Drugs provide maximum pleasure from the standpoint of individual human happiness. But when it comes to health, drugs are an absolute evil that damages the nervous system and devastates the body and mind. Socially, drugs have negative impacts. Society is maintained and developed by the constituent human being. Humans try to live a more satisfying life when they are not satisfied with reality. In other words, dissatisfaction is the driving force of effort and human effort is the driving force of social maintenance and development. However, if all people are drugged and pursue their own pleasure and happiness in front of their eyes, nobody will feel dissatisfied and live a life of resting in reality. That society is a declining society, which ends with the dissolution of society. Humans who do not belong in society would lose the meaning of life so nobody should use drugs.
