Hi, my name is hojin. My role model is Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi in Switzerland, a educator , teacher. He was called father of modern education. He was poor because his father died when he was 5. He promised with father that he take care after his family in future. At that time, poor wasn't educated. So he was raised by his mother and gransdmother of love and education so he realized importance of education. He determined to solve the social problems, however he was poor so he failed to solve the problems. Later, he didn't give up teaching of poor. After Switzerland revolution, he was appointed head of orphanage. He treats children for love and patience. He thought that children shoud be respected by someone. So, Pestalozzi taught working and clearly speaking for children. Because He thought that language is tool for learning and communication. And he divided humanity to head, heart and hand so he said that helping harmonious development of head, heart and hand is principle of education. Pestalozzi thought that through education, human natural nature should develop in harmony, intellectual ability and technological ability and moral ability should improve through education. And he said that ideal teacher is human who connect children to society and make children level up to adult level. He emphasized the importance of co-operative relationship of teacher and student. He believed that teacher must be leader that is thoughtful and understand emotional or intellectual demands. I am impressed by Pestalozzi epitaph that 'He did everything for others, nothing for himself' is. His idea has still influenced the universal education active. And his idea has impacted the develop of education theory.  I think that he is so great that he be respected by me. My dream is to be a teacher that teach history or biology in school. I think that he was so great teacher and educator so I will emulate him that was great teacher. I want that he help me to teach because I want to be a great teacher.
