Deliver from the law and serve in newness of spirit (Romans 7:5-6)
God did not want sacrifices and offerings according to the law, but sent the one body of the Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 10:5) so that through his death we also died to the law and gave us a new, resurrected spiritual body, and fulfill the love required by the law by becoming one spirit with the Lord in the Holy Spirit, God's will is done in us as it is done in heaven, so that it becomes a praise of his glory.
Q. What is the difference between the law before death and now?
“For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” (Rom 7:5-6)
A. When we are in the flesh, the desire for sin through the law is painful.
People are aware of such painful greed.
It is not the pleasure of life, but the greed that gives suffering.
‘It works in our members’ means that greed stimulates the peripheral nerves.
Why should you be blessed as in Psalm 1, not following the counsels of the wicked, not sitting on the path of sinners and in the seat of the proud, but rejoicing in the law of the Lord and meditating day and night?
When people turn to the flesh, all our hearts and activities turn to the periphery.
Go to the tip of the tongue, the tip of the eyes, the tip of the nose, and the fingertips. Is the world living like that now?
I remember a man named Watchman Nee saying this.
The more soulish people are, the more curious they are, and the more they like to watch... That's right.
Those who want to see if there is anything new among Christians are carnal people.
However, the more spiritual people are, the more introverted they are, always facing the center.
It does not refer to the docile or introverted personality itself.
Therefore, you must be an upward introvert and an extrovert.
First a right relationship with God, then a right relationship with me, and then with a neighbor.
But a soulish person does not have a relationship with God or with me, but only pursues people, that is, neighbors.
It comes directly from greed.
'Death has borne fruit' means that he only did things to death.
You have to be sensitive spiritually, but a person of the flesh is only sensitive to human relationships.
It's been very difficult since then.
Competition, envy, jealousy, hatred, and quarrels happen.
In Psalm 62, David is like a wall that falls over and a fence that shakes.
So, David confesses, 'Only the Lord is my rock, my salvation, my fortress, and my refuge'.
He must gain peace through the grace of the redemption of the cross of Christ and learn the secret of the truth so that he can fly to God with spiritual wings.
Don't grow greedy like a pig, but develop wings like a bird.
We must attach the wings of the kingdom of heaven in the Holy Spirit and fly as high as we can.
People don't know that they are under the law.
They're just feeling the heavy burden that the law gives.
It is proof that there is no feeling that sin is scary to unbelievers.
However, because the consequences of sin come and frighten us, the results are painful and disturbing.
It's painful only when something like a sense of regret, guilt, and curse comes flooding in.
Have you ever been afraid of sin when you were outside of Christ?
There is no one.
So we've never been afraid of the law. But the results are terrifying and frightening.
But now, by dying with Christ, we are freed from the curse of the law.
So now I live not me, but Jesus Christ lives in me.
In 2 Corinthians 5, Paul urges us to live as if we were dead and been raised again.
It means not going back and forth on either side, like a bat, not a mouse, or a bird.
After all, humans have a habit of not being faithful to two things.
Therefore, always meditate on Galatians 2:20.
“I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me. and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
By thinking of the body that died and the body that was given to us, we live as a new spirit, that is, as a spirit of new life.
When we say something new of the spirit, we mean the Spirit of life.
It is to serve the Spirit of life, not to be enslaved to the old things of the letter.
However, people like to be slaves who follow their guardians.
We must beware of the spirit of slavery like Israel.
You shouldn't be a slave to people.
When many people read the Bible, they say, 'The Bible says to do this or that.'
The Holy Spirit becomes the supreme law within us and changes our consciousness, concepts, thoughts, and values.
The Holy Spirit is our tutor.
A tutor guides, teaches, and reminds with a whip.
As the Holy Spirit groans and prays for us, all things work together for good.
Therefore, the moment he attaches to us as a tutor is so important.
So do not quench the Holy Spirit, do not grieve it, do not blaspheme it.
Whether we do well or not, He works for our overall benefit.
That is why he tells us not to try to separate the Holy Spirit or to despise Him.
It is the work of the Holy Spirit that causes metabolism and renewal within us every day.
If you read the Bible literally, all of it becomes law.
Again, original nature is a creation that gives birth and gives birth, not teaching.
Since the Gospel of Matthew is a book of life, the story of giving birth and giving birth has been recorded.
Our body is also made of the Lord, but the spirit is a new creation.
This creation continues in Christ and becomes his image.
When the body's structure eats food, the waste is excreted through urine and is continuously renewed.
Living creatures continue to be recreated like this.
However, creation and making are different. Creation continues to be new, and making is to make from what has already been done.
So the intellect always spins in his head through education and training.
It is rather more painful to know because you are not able to embody it and are full of knowledge.
Since you are now living in a new spirit in Christ, do not shed anything but tears of joy and gratitude.
Tears from the heart clear the head.
If the head is clean, the energy of the Lord's life nourishes the bone marrow, and it is said that more than 2 million blood cells are produced per second. Blood circulation improves and the body's metabolism overflows due to smooth oxygen supply.
why do you have a headache?
It's because your heart is empty.
Why is your heart empty?
Because you put your thoughts elsewhere.
It is to follow the desires of the flesh.
Listen to the word of God carefully and try to make it your own.
Try to create the new nature of a new creature born again in Christ.
Then, the second destiny will come to me.
Enter into a new destiny.
