전국경제인연합회는 매출액 상위 35개사 노조전임자의 작년 평균 연봉이 6327만원으로 근로자 평균 연봉의 2배를 넘었다고 어제 밝혔다. 전경련 조사 결과 노조전임자들은 파업 기간 중에도 임금과 초과근로수당을 빠짐없이 받았다. 무노동 무임금 원칙을 적용받는 일반 근로자에 비해 두둑한 특혜를 받는 노조 간부들이 수두룩한 것이다. 대기업 노조위원장 10명 중 4명은 임원 수준의 연봉이었다. 1억 원 이상의 연봉을 받는 노조위원장도 있다.

A full-time unionist also received his or her salary and overtime pay while on strike. Other workers are subject to the “no work, no pay” rule but union leaders enjoy more privileges. Forty percent of union leaders are paid on par with company executives, with some raking in more than 100 million won  per year.
