The Prophecies and Fulfillment and Faith of Revelation
Christians now around the world are awaiting Jesus' second coming without even having made any preparations. Jesus told us in detail about his second coming and the qualifications to receive the Lord at that time. Also, he told us that at the time of the Lord’s return, there will be a wedding banquet, and he also promised to give the promised kingdom of heaven. Additionally, he said there will be a punishment that falls upon those who fail to keep the promise. Therefore, one can enter the kingdom of heaven of their hope by knowing and believing in the meaning of the prophecies of Revelation and their realities that have been fulfilled.
Let us first examine Rv 1-5 from here.
● War started due to the beginning of the events of Revelation (Rv 1-3)
In Rv 1, Jesus came in spiritual form and appointed the seven stars, the seven messengers. The church of the seven golden lampstands (the Tabernacle Temple) of the seven messengers grew rapidly, and about 80 branch churches were established across the country. Satan saw this and sent his pastor Nicolas to the seven churches. These seven messengers of the seven churches were a mystery (Rv 1:20), and at the time of fulfillment, what appeared were not the seven messengers of the seven churches of long ago. They were the seven messengers of the Tabernacle Temple at the time of the fulfillment of Revelation, and they came as the messengers of the seven lamps to prepare the way of the Lord of the second coming.
Satan's pastor—the Nicolaitans—entered these seven churches, that is, the tabernacle of the seven messengers, made them eat Satan's teachings and the food sacrificed to idols and made them commit sexual immorality with Satan's spirit (god).
Jesus, who saw this, chose New John in Rv 1:17 and had him send the seven messengers letters calling for repentance. In the letters of Rv 2-3, [Jesus] made known that Nicolas is Satan's pastor, and he had [the messenger] tell them to fight and overcome. With the invasion of Satan, the Nicolaitans, into the tabernacle of the seven messengers, Revelation’s war between the spirits (gods) began.
Did the seven messengers of the seven churches receive the letters and repent? And did they fight and overcome Satan, the Nicolaitans?
Jesus promised to give [blessings] to the one who overcomes. Let me introduce a few things that were promised. He promised to give the hidden manna and the white stone, the iron scepter to rule all nations, to record the name of God, heaven, and Jesus’ new name on [him], and the right to sit on Jesus’ throne with him.
After sending the letters to the seven messengers in Rv 2-3, New John heard Jesus summon [him] from heaven and went up to heaven (Rv 4). Jesus said that he is going to show him what must take place after this, and New John saw and heard the appearance of heaven in the spiritual world. What did this New John see through Jesus starting from Rv 4?
● What was seen and heard after going up to the throne in heaven (Rv 4-5)
In Rv 4, there were things that New John saw and heard when he went up to the throne in heaven; the movement of each hierarchical order of the throne was not ordinary. They moved like rumblings, peals of thunder, and lightning, and he heard that this kingdom of heaven is going to come down to earth.
In Rv 5, there is one book in the hand of God, and it is sealed with seven seals. Because there was no one in heaven or on earth who could open or read this book, New John wept. Why did he weep, even though he went up to heaven?
However, one of the elders said that because Jesus overcame (Jn 16:33), he could open the seven seals. Jesus took the book and came forward with the seven spirits, and the four living creatures and the 24 elders welcomed Jesus and sang the new song (verses 9-10). The content of the new song was: “Jesus, the Lamb, with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” This blood is connected to the word of the new covenant that was promised in blood in Lk 22:14-20. The blood of Jesus, the Passover Lamb, was for the kingdom and priests of Rv 5.
● The salvation of the blood of Jesus, the Passover Lamb (Rv 5:9-10)
It was said that the faultless, spotless, flawless blood of the holy Righteous One, that is, the blood of Jesus, who is the Passover Lamb, wouldn’t be eaten until it found fulfillment in the Father’s kingdom. The Father’s kingdom is the kingdom of God spoken of in Rv 5:9-10.
Long ago in Moses’ time, on that night of leaving Egypt, just as God commanded Moses, Moses told the people to put the blood of the lamb on their doorframes, to roast and eat the lamb meat, and to eat in haste with their sandals on.
An angel from heaven came down and did not enter houses that had the blood on the door. It only entered houses without the blood and killed all of the firstborn of both men and beasts. At this time, the house of Israel received salvation through the blood of the lamb.
This is the origin of the work of receiving salvation through Jesus the Lamb in the New Testament. The time of the harvest is the end of the world (age). At the end of this world, those who have received the word of the Lamb’s blood of life [while being] in the churches of the world must come out of the Egypt-like churches of the world and go to the kingdom of heaven, the promised kingdom. The end of the world, which is the time of the harvest, is like the day the people of Israel came out of Egypt.
As seen in Jn 6, the living bread that comes down from heaven was Jesus, and the one who eats this bread receives eternal life. We eat Jesus’ flesh and blood, come out from the Egypt-like world, and enter the kingdom of heaven. The world and the kingdom of heaven are different.
Even the blood of Jesus, the Passover Lamb, was the blood that was shed to be eaten at the Father’s kingdom when it is completely fulfilled in Revelation. The grace of being purchased by that blood to be made God’s kingdom and priests makes [us] eternally grateful.
This is the salvation that happens according to God’s will. If one wants to enter the kingdom of heaven, then he must know, “Have I been created according to the will of God recorded [in the Bible]? Have I been created according to the promises of the Bible? Who am I according to the Bible?” And he must check, “Whose seed have I been born of? Have I been harvested? Have I been sealed, and do I belong to the 12 tribes of the promised kingdom?” Moreover, the event of the marriage of spirit and flesh of Rv 19 up to the event of participating in the first resurrection of Rv 20, which will take place in the future, must be fulfilled in himself. These kinds of things are the requirements to completely enter the kingdom of heaven.
