[오늘의 묵상칼럼] 2026.9.6(주일) 오늘의 말씀카드, 365묵상글, 예산수정교회

1. 오늘의 묵상칼럼 : 내면에서 흘러넘쳐 장애물을 넘어서는 생명의 강

"오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과..." (갈라디아서 5:22)

"나를 믿는 자는 성경에 이름과 같이 그 배에서 생수의 강이 흘러나오리라 하시니" (요한복음 7:38)

   삶의 여정에는 언제나 예상치 못한 장애물과 거친 바위가 놓여 있습니다. 문제의 크기에 시선을 빼앗기면 마음은 메마르고 두려움이 앞서기 마련입니다. 그러나 오스왈드 챔버스는 "성령의 강은 모든 장애물을 극복한다"고 선포하며, 결코 우리의 시야를 눈앞의 어려움에 고정하지 말라고 권면합니다.

  강물은 바위를 만나도 멈추지 않습니다. 장애물을 뚫고 지나가거나, 그 위를 덮으며 끝내 바다로 흘러갑니다. 예수 그리스도를 믿는 자의 내면에는 마르지 않는 성령의 생수가 흐르고 있습니다. 우리가 해야 할 일은 문제를 바라보며 낙심하는 것이 아니라, 내 안에서 역사하시는 성령의 흐름에 우리 자신을 맡기는 것입니다.

  성령의 강물이 내면을 가득 채우고 흘러넘칠 때, 장애물은 더 이상 걸림돌이 되지 못합니다. 오히려 그 물길을 따라 사랑, 희락, 화평, 오래 참음, 자비, 양선, 충성이라는 풍성한 열매가 맺힙니다. 오늘 어떤 어려움 앞에 서 있더라도 시선을 문제 너머 생수의 근원되시는 주님께 두십시오. 내 안에서 흐르는 성령의 강이 모든 장벽을 넘어 은혜의 열매를 맺게 할 것입니다.

2. 오늘의 묵상칼럼(영어버전)  : The River of Life Overcoming Every Obstacle

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness..." (Galatians 5:22)

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." (John 7:38)

  The journey of life often places unexpected obstacles and rough terrain before us. When we fix our gaze on the magnitude of the problem, our souls grow dry and anxiety quickly takes over. Yet, as Oswald Chambers reminds us, "The river of the Spirit overcomes all obstacles." We must never let our eyes remain fixed on the difficulties surrounding us.

   A river never stops when it meets a rock. It flows around it, overtakes it, and continues relentlessly toward the ocean. In the heart of everyone who believes in Christ, the inexhaustible stream of the Holy Spirit flows. Our task is not to measure the obstacles in despair, but to surrender to the divine current already moving within us.

  When the river of the Spirit overflows in our lives, no obstacle can halt God's purpose. Instead, along those living waters, the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness—naturally blossoms. Whatever difficulty stands before you today, lift your eyes from the barrier to the Source of living water. The river within you will overcome every challenge and bear enduring fruit.
