『Everything changes after Liberation Day (Zheng Dong-hee's view): 『The time has come』』
(Commemorative speech by Zheng Dong-hee on the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day) 『The time has come』
This article is part 2 of 『Everything Changes After Liberation Day (Zheng Dong-hee's View)』① posted two days ago.
Politicians and citizens of Korea and Australia! Today marks exactly 80 years since the Japanese Emperor Hirohito declared surrender in a radio broadcast at noon on August 15, 1945, bringing peace not only to Europe but also to the Asia-Pacific region.
Korea escaped from Japanese colonial rule on this day, and although Australia is not in this situation, the risk of air raids, which had continued for over 100 times since the Bombing of Darwin, which became the first real risk of invasion in history, ended.
Today, I am sending a message to the Australian government as a public interest reporter and to the Korean government as an author who mentioned the turbulent period in Korea that will arrive in 2026, with the topic, “It’s time.”
Looking back, the government of President Chiang Kai-shek of the Nationalist Government of the Republic of China, which met this day 80 years ago, changed to what is now Taiwan, and in its place is now the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping. Immediately before, former Chinese President Hu Jintao was insulted while the world watched at the closing ceremony of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, where Chinese President Xi Jinping confirmed his third term in October 2022.
I would like to point out that this situation has recently been going on in a similar way in both Korea and Australia, albeit in different contexts.
In the case of Korea, during the three special prosecutions that have been underway since the inauguration of the new government, the immediate past president was re-arrested and imprisoned again, and attempts were made to forcibly detain him in prison even though he declared that he had exercised his right to refuse to testify.
In the case of Australia, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese returning to power in May 25, the new Attorney General and the Banking Supervisory Authority, who succeeded former Attorney General Mark Dreyfuss, are pushing forward with ‘the ruthless barbarism of public power by not taking any responsibility for the absurd logic that goes against international law, international common sense, and conscience and the three broken promises of the government documents, even though I, the first whistleblower who reported the bribery scandal of the president of an Australian government-owned state-run bank on February 6, 2024, won the trial in June 2024, and instead, shifting all responsibility to me and, conversely, confiscating all of the whistleblower’s assets.
This situation in Korea and Australia is very similar to that in October 2022, when through the above-mentioned incident, Chairman Xi Jinping seemed to have ascended to the position of the most powerful ‘21st century emperor’ since Mao Zedong. How is this different from the time when all forces that could resist him disappeared, ‘Xi Jinping Thought’ was incorporated into the party constitution, and the supreme leadership consisted only of his loyalists?
However, in hindsight, history tells us that that time coincidentally was a “reversal day.”
Paradoxically, from the moment Xi Jinping's power reached its peak, dissatisfaction and backlash began to erupt everywhere, and former President Hu Jintao, who contributed greatly to China's economic development, did not go to the swimming pool, preserving his vitality and playing an invisible role today.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanage and others should not make the mistake of becoming ‘another name for narrow-minded people.’
Please take a look at when the signal for change in China's political landscape began.
You narrow-minded people! I raise a warning about the current behavior of only strengthening the government's top-down decision-making in order to concentrate power in oneself and turning a blind eye to the atrocities of their own agents, who throw away the promises made by their own government like self-destruction.
Do you still not understand why President Xi Jinping is belatedly creating a system of checks and balances from his companion and loyal supporter, Zhang Yuxia?
Narrow-minded people do not deserve politics.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and others are now saying that the time has come to make a political decision. This is what Zheng Dong-hee, who contributed to the Australian government's USD 18 million in treasury revenue in June 2024 and was robbed of everything by the Australian government, is talking about.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and others are struggling even more after coming back to power in this way to only survive for themselves, but we must not forget that history gives a strong punishment called 'reversal' to those who only try to survive for themselves.
You may have come across the story of a reversed figure called a foreground-background reversible figure. The first common one is the "Doji inverted diagram," in which both the outline (=shape) and the margin (=background) of the screen itself are reversed in an instant, but both have meaning. This is the example of the brutality of public power that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, the Australian Attorney General, and the Banking Supervisory Service are currently perpetrating against public interest reporters.
It is called "Gestalt Psychology," and the fact that the title is in German is an underlying reflection on why the German people showed unusually strong sympathy during World War II against the Jews as a group committing group crimes against international common sense and international conscience.
This concludes (Zheng Dong-hee's commemorative speech on the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day) 『It's Time』.
thank you
