0529 Guard What’s Entrusted to You | 2 Timothy 1:14 | Pastor Jim Cymbala

Join [Pastor Jim Cymbala] /for today’s daily devotional /from 2 Timothy 1:14.

In this devotional, Pastor Cymbala encourages [us] [to guard the gifts of the Holy Spirit against Satan].

Because the Spirit lives /through us, we can fully exercise [these divine gifts].

Let’s ask for [the Spirit’s help] /to protect [what the Lord wants us to hold on to].

* 목보인 to 부정사구 to guard [the gifts of the Holy Spirit] /against Satan

* 목보인 원형 부정사구 ask for [the Spirit’s help] /to protect [what the Lord wants us to hold on to].

* 지시 형용사 these ; this의 복수형

* 수식관계 to guard /against Satan (전치사구는 부사역할)

* 숙어 ask for [something] means that you want someone to give you something: 어떤 것을 요청하다

* 숙어/타동사구 Hold on to ; to grasp something physically or keep something in your possession.
